Chapter 41: Relit Flame

(Y/N) POV

I only cocked my head in puzzlement.

"The...Ma-what now?" I asked.

"The Mafuba," repeated Goki. "It's an awesome technique that can seal any evil being in a rice cooker!"

This started to make sense until the rice cooker part.

"Aft a rice cooker?" You asked.

Goki just rubbed the back of her head with an awkward laugh.

"Ehehe...well you see," Goki began.  "It's because we've lost the original Mafuba jar. So that's why we have to resort to the rice cooker!"

"I guess that makes sense." You conceded.

She just chuckled, leaning down as she puckered her lips to give you soft kiss on the forehead. You smiled at sign of affection.

"So uh, you think I could get up now?" You asked.

"Oh right!" She replied as she got up off of you, letting you sit up.

The two of you hopped off of the bed. Suddenly, the door slid open once again to reveal the bluenette scientist, Bulma.

"Ah, (Y/N)!" exclaimed Bulma. "I'm glad that you're alright."

"Thanks, Bulma." You smiled.

"Oh I almost forgot! Vegeta is waiting for you outside. He wants to train with you before returning back to the future." Bulma told.

"Thanks for telling me, Bulma!" You said happily.

Training with Vegeta eh? This would be the first time that I've ever had a training session with the guy...can't wait!

"Of course, (Y/N). And good luck." replied the genius.

"Goki, are you coming too?" You questioned.

Goki shook her head.

"I'd love to, but I can't. I have to go back to Universe 10 with Lord Beerus and Whis. We have to expose Zamasu to Gowasu for the criminal he is!" explained Goki. "That way, the same tradgedy won't happen here."

"Sounds great! Well, I'll see ya later babe." You spoke before giving her a kiss on the cheek and racing outside.

"Good luck with training, cutie!" Goki called as you kept going.

Once you reached the door, you went past it to see Vegeta waiting for you, leaning against the tree with his arms folded.

He noticed you and turned his attention towards you. 

"Seems you're finally awake," Vegeta spoke. "Come. We're going to train in the Room of Spirit and Time. Otherwise known as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."

What's with all these weird names? Sure, I can pronounce them but still!

"Uh..where is that again?" You asked.

"You'll just have to follow me." Was all he responded with as he flew off.

"Hey, wait a second!" You pleaded as you flew off after him.

Soon enough, the two of you arrived at something that seemed like a temple. You landed on the white tiles and looked around.

"Wow. This place ain't too shabby!" You admired.

"Of course it isn't. After all, it's where God lives." told Vegeta.
