I heard the group downstairs slowly get up and leave, the door shutting behind them. I got into my room and just laid on the bed. I couldn't cry I didn't want to. And Allison sure wouldn't have wanted me to. I just went into my phone to see if I had any missed texts. I knew I wouldn't all of my 'friends' were sitting in my living room. I heard Stiles' jeep and Scott's bike start and leave my driveway. When I turned my phone on I saw I had a missed call from Jackson. As I was just about to call him back when I heard footsteps coming up the steps.

"Lydia? Where are you? What room?" It was Ethan.

I decided just to go to the doorway just to save him the trouble. "I'm uh right here" I said heading towards the door.

He spun around. "Hey."

"Hey" I said, I wasn't sure what else there was to say.

"Malia didn't mean that. You do know that, right?" He wasn't being mean; he was just trying to comfort me I guess. I'd always liked Ethan for that. He was such a genuine guy, he really did care about other people and hated seeing them upset, it was almost as if it hurt him more to see someone else hurt.

I knew she didn't mean that, just, I was overwhelmed I still am. "Yeah, I know that. It's just. Everyone down there has someone. Stiles has Malia and Scott, and Scott has Kira, Isaac, and Stiles. Isaac has Scott, you have Danny. But I, I have no one left, I lost them, and I only have Jackson. When everyone down there saying all those terrible things about the only person I have left that I could let my guard down with, it's just, like wow. I know you lost your brother and it's blood over friends. But, I lost my best friend and boyfriend. I'm not trying to make my life sound worse because it could be worse- for the both of us, it could be way worse. But I just, I wished they'd understand." I sighed, I hoped it didn't sound like. I was coming off as an attention seeking bitch.

"You have me Lydia." He said quietly.

"And me, I know how you're feeling." Isaac said climbing up the stairs. He must've been listening in on that. It's not like I cared, it actually felt nice, that two people cared enough to come after me.

"Thank you" I whispered.

"I know this is going to sound dumb, but are you going to be ok?" Ethan said looking at me.

I looked up at him and smiled. "I uhh" I bit my lip. "I will be I mean I have to be. I know Aiden and Allison wouldn't want me to be this way- an emotional wreck." I laughed a little bit. "Anyways," I said, moving past Ethan, "We have to get down stairs."

"Hold on." Isaac said he stopped me, putting his hands on my shoulders, "I told them it would probably be in their best interest to leave" He took a breath. "So they did."

"Thanks Isaac" I said with a small grin. "I'll drive you guys home later, after you stay for dinner, both of you." I said, looking at Ethan.

"I drove my bike here."

"Oh, I know, but you're staying for dinner." The three of us all laughed. "Haha, ok we can come in my room, my mom will be home soon, and dinner will be around 6:00, is that ok?"

"Yeah, I mean I have no plans." Isaac said.

"Neither do I." Ethan chimed in.

"I'm gonna go say goodbye to Mr. Argent and then make a quick phone call. Just make your selves at home." I turned to the door and headed down stairs to catch Mr. Argent before he left, right before he opened the door to leave actually. He had already put all his books and binders in his car.

"I'm sorry, none of that was directed towards you, I just-" he jumped in when I was about to start rambling.

"You have nothing to apologize for; she never should've said that about him. No one should've. But I, for one, want him to come." He smiled back at me.
