I kept waking up all thoughout the night, tossing and turning. It was the second time I'd woken up, a little bit after eleven, that I decided to get up and go to the bathroom medicine cabinet and took a six hour sleeping pill. When I curled back up in my bed, I fell asleep and before I knew what was going on, my alarm clock woke me up at 5:15. I had an hour to get ready before I had to leave for Derek's to pick up Ethan and Isaac like I promised yeterday afternoon.

I headed to my vanity to get ready. It didn't take too long, only 15 minuets. When I finished with my hair and makeup, I put a lipstick in my purse, and started getting dressed. I decided on a sleeveless red dress that had pale yellow and blue flowers in it, matched with an old light washed jean jacket I've had forever, along with my favorite pair of booties. I got them for my birthday a few years back. They were a cream color and zipped in the back. Once I had everything together and I was ready to go I looked at the clock and saw that I some time to grab something for breakfast.

I got an apple and went back up stairs to get my phone off the charger, and to get my backpack and purse. I threw the mostly eaten apple in the mostly eaten apple in the trash can when I came back down.

"I'm leaving mom, I'm picking Isaac and Ethan up for school." I shouted upstairs, we usually left at the same time 6:30, but since it took fifteen minutes to get the the loft, I had to leave earlier, "Remember Jackson will be here tonight." I told her last night and she agreed to let him stay with us for a few days.

She must've still been in her room beacuase when she called back it was hard to hear. "Ok, and yes I remembered, I'll see you this afternoon , have a good day!"

"I'll try" I muttered as I slung my backpack, which was a tote bag style bag, and my purse on my left shoulder. I grabbed my lanyard and headed out the door with my phone in hand.

When I got into my car I put my bags in the backseat and sat my phone down in the passanger seat cupholder, since mine had the water bottle from last night in it. I started the car and pulled out of our long driveway, heading to Derek's.

It didn't take long to get there. I hadn't put any music on, instead I just thought about random things on my mind. When I did get there, I got out of the car, when I reached the huge sliding door it was opened, by my surprise, Peter.

"Hello Lydia." He said, he gestured for me to come in, but Ethan and Isaac were right behind him ready to leave.

"Peter" I said awkwardly, I decided to forgive him on everything that happened between the two of us. Isaac and Ethan moved out the door leaving me and Peter staring at each other in the doorway. "Well, I'd love to chit-chat, but we need to get to school." As I said that Ethan and Isaac were heading towards the car.

Before he closed the door he spoke, "Maybe another time then." I turned my head and he stated closing the door.

"Maybe" I said after him, although, I had no intentions of having an actual conversation with Peter Hale.

Isaac sat in the front with me, I told him he could put his bag and jacket in the backseat with mine if he wanted, since the front didn't give much room for anyting to be kept up there. Ethan had also put his stuff with ours, and we created a pile of our stuff.

We made small talk, talking about our favorite tv shows, music, artists, and stuff like. We eventually started talking about songs for the funerals. I already told them some ideas and we just tossed song titles back and forth. Ethan got a peice of paper from his bag along with a pen and wrote down some of the ideas we had.
