Powerless - OK KO

How It Started

TKO woke up with everyone staring down at him, worried looks on their faces.
"What... happened?" he asked weakly, "why am I in so much pain?"
"Well you took ages to find our ball so I went out looking for you and I found you unconscious with a massive branch on you. You were very badly hurt." Said KO sadly.
"What happened to you out there?" asked Carol.
"Well I got the ball so then I was going to go back home but then I tripped over a rock that really hurt my foot and then I rolled down the hill into some lava and then I flew into a tree but then I fell off it onto a hard log that really hurt my back and then..." he sighed sadly, "then the branch fell on top of me but I couldn't move because I was in too much pain."
"Oh cob! Well I'm just glad you're ok now." said KO. Just then, a doctor came in holding some papers.
"Good news! TKO's results came back fine so he can go home today. Here's a prescription of the medicine he needs to get rid of the pain." the doctor said, giving Carol a piece of paper with writing on it.
"Ok thanks. When will he be discharged?" asked Carol.
"Just after I check his blood pressure and his temperature. Just to be on the safe side."
"Thank you." said Carol and the doctor started to check TKO's blood pressure and temperature.
"Well it all seems fine to me," the doctor said, "he can go now."
"Ok. Thank you for helping him." said Carol.
"No problem. Just make sure he gets plenty of rest and eats lots of food as he is still quite weak."
Weak? TKO thought, Ha! Im not weak! Do they seriously think that I'm weak after a little accident?
"Ok. Come on you two. Let's go." said Carol and KO and TKO got up and they left the hospital.

After they got home, TKO went straight to bed as he was really tired. He slept for a long time until he heard the front door open. He got up and saw KO and Carol were about to leave him.
"Where are you going?" he asked weakly.
"Oh TKO. I thought you were asleep." said Carol.
"I was but I just got up now. Where are you two going?"
"Well me and KO were about to go to work but I thought I'd leave you as you were fast asleep."
TKO quickly jumped up. "No! Don't leave me! I want to come too!" he said quickly.
"Are you sure? The doctor said that you need to rest." asked Carol.
"No! I want to come!" He called as he quickly ran upstairs and got changed fast.
"Ok. Let's go!" said Carol.

They arrived at the bodega and KO was happily mopping the floor and talking to Rad and Enid. TKO was just sitting on a chair, listening to Kactus Krew music on his headphones and eating lightning nachos. Suddenly, the alarm went off and the heroes quickly went outside and got into battle mode.
"TKO, are you sure you're well enough to fight?" asked KO.
"Of course I am." he said. The box fell from the sky and slowly opened to reveal Shannon.  
"HAHAHAHA! Get ready to be destroyed, Lakewood losers!" she cackled. Enid threw her fire kicks at her but she dodged them easily. Rad used his levitation beam to hit her hard onto the ground.
"I'm gonna get you, you brats!" she shouted and she ran over to them. Enid threw more fire kicks at her that hit her. KO did his power punches at her and soon she was almost destroyed. TKO decided to finish her off. He tried to teleport behind her and give her a surprise punch in the back but his teleportation powers weren't working. He tried to just throw a turbo punch at her but that didn't work either. Shannon laughed evilly.
"Aww! Little turbo guy is feeling weak today! That's a shame!" she cackled. She turned into a hammer and started hitting him hard. KO gasped. He threw a power punch at her and she fell. He ran up to TKO.
"TKO, are you ok?" He asked.
"I don't... understand," TKO said sadly, "why are none of my powers working like they used to?"
"It's probably because you're tired and you need rest," said KO, "that is what the doctor said."
"Ok. I'll sit this one out." He replied sadly. He went inside the store and just watched KO, Rad and Enid fight Shannon with their incredible powers. He watched Shannon's head fly all the way back to boxmore. Ha! I could've done that easily, he thought, when I go home I'll just get some rest and then hopefully tomorrow I should be powerful again. KO, Rad and Enid came back inside after the fight.
"Hey TKO! How are you feeling?" asked KO.
"I feel fine but when we go home I'm gonna get extra rest so that tomorrow, I'll be back to normal." said TKO.
"Yeah. That's a good idea." said KO. Just then, Carol walked into the store.
"Hey guys! Are you ready to go home?" she asked.
"Yep!" they both said.
"Ok then. Let's go!"

When they arrived home, TKO ate all of his spaghetti and went straight to bed.
"Err... KO? Is TKO feeling alright?" asked Carol, a bit worried.
"Yeah. Well at work today when we were fighting Shannon, his powers weren't working so he told me that he wanted to get plenty of rest so that tomorrow, he'll be back to normal."
"Oh, ok. That's good. Well goodnight KO." she said as she kissed him.
"Goodnight mummy!" He said and then he went to his bed. He saw that TKO was already in his bed, fast asleep. KO quietly walked over to him.
"Goodnight TKO! Don't worry. I'm sure your powers will be working again tomorrow!" He whispered in his ear. And then, he went to sleep.
