By afternoon, Holly was with everyone playing cards and laughing. She was still blushing from when Barnaby said Ben loves her. What if that was true. Should she tell him that she has the same feelings? Ben was an elf, and she was a princess. A fairy princess. She could tell him but she was too shy. It would be 3 simple words. I Love You. But it isn't that easy. Unless you've been with someone for a long, long time. "I win!" Violet exclaimed. "No you didn't I win!" Barnaby shouted. Soon everyone was arguing and laughing. Ben and Holly were the winners. "Yes!" They said happily. They were so happy they even hugged each other. "So they do love each other," Jake said smirking. When Ben and Holly realised what was happening, they were blushing crimson red.

Soon it was time to choose who to dance with in the royal ball. Holly was nervous. Daisy and Poppy laughed.

"Is she going to choose Ben?" Daisy said.

"Probably," Poppy said with a smirk. "Ha! You two won't find love unless it eats your breakfast!" Holly shouted. The Wise Old Elf stepped up to the microphone. "Now everyone will choose who to dance with in the royal ball. Everyone, listen up."

"Father, let me do this," Redbeard the Pirate said. "Your majesty, who do you choose?"

"I choose the Queen." King Thistle said. "Mr.Elf, who do you choose?" Redbeard said.

"I choose Mrs.Elf," Mr.Elf said.

After a while, it was the Young adults. "Violet, who do you choose?" Redbeard asked. "I choose Jake," Violet said. "Who do you choose Strawberry?" Redbeard asked. "I choose Barnaby," Strawberry said. Jake smiled. "Who do you choose, princess Holly? Make a wise choice." Redbeard said. Holly didn't know who to choose. "Ben, Ben, Ben!" Her mind said. "I-I," Holly hesitated. "I choose Ben." Holly finally said. Ben's eyes widened. He didn't think Holly would choose him. Maybe she loved him too.

Daisy chose Poppy, even though it was embarrassing. Ben and Holly laughed. They went back to the meadow and they started playing together. "Do you want to see me climb a tree?" Ben asked? "Are you sure? I hope you don't fall," Holly said. "I won't fall, elves are very good at climbing, and I'm an elf!" Ben said. (Tootes his horn). Holly giggled and watched as Ben climbed the tree with ease. He was very strong and Holly was really impressed by his strength. "See? I told you I could do it!" Ben exclaimed. Holly flew next to him and sat down. They both enjoyed the view from the top of the tree. "Do you want to go to the little castle? No one is there until 8 o'clock." Holly asked. "Sure," Ben said. Holly waved her wand and in a flash they were in her room. They sat on the bed and looked out the window. Holly was very tired and fell asleep on Ben's shoulder. "Holly?" Ben saw Holly fast asleep on his shoulder. Ben was blushing and was glad no one was here to see. He held her bridal style and gazed at her angelic face. She was so beautiful. In fact, she was the definition of beautiful. At least that's what Ben thought. He looked out the window and saw beautiful trees and lot's of decorations for the ball.

He saw Holly's eyes open slowly as she realised what was happening. She looked into Ben's eyes and saw forest green eyes gazing back. "Holly, I-I, I love you." Ben said with passion. Holly was surprised. She wasn't expecting those words from Ben's mouth. Holly was blushing red. "Ben, I love you too." Holly said. Ben blushed pink. Holly drew Ben towards her and soon they're lips were locked in a kiss. Holly's mind raced. Her first kiss! With Ben, her best friend since they were born. Her parents might not expect this. But she didn't care. Being with Ben was like being in heaven. She caressed Ben's hair and Ben kissed her deeper in response. Ben entered his tongue in her mouth. He swirled his tongue in her mouth. She did the same. Soon their tongues were doing a dance. Ben decided to go deeper, but not too deep. He caressed her hair and broke apart. He kissed her down from her mouth to her shoulder. Holly moaned, surprised. He went back to her mouth slowly. Holly felt the warmth of his mouth trailing down her neck. She kissed him as deep as she could. Soon they broke apart, breathing heavily. Ben gazed into her eyes, smiling, She smiled back. Holly got up and sat next to him. "I," Holly hesitated. "And I-" Ben hesitated. "What time is it?" Holly finally asked. Ben looked at the watch that Holly gave him for his birthday. It was decorated with him and her together. A memory. "7:30" Ben said. "I think you should go now," Holly said. "Bye Holly!" "Bye Ben!" In a flash, Ben was in his room. He walked to his bed and tried to wake himself up. Was that a dream? No, it wasn't.
