'Our Pace' [StrayKids; Hyunjin]

VIII.

I woke up to the sun shining brightly, I feel... I don't know how I feel. The weather is so nice today, I looked at the time and see that it's already, 8:15, which means I'm already late for school. I tied my hair and went downstairs.

"Granny" I said and hugged her. She asked me how I'm feeling and she'll make food for me, because she will be going to meet her friends in the village for a few days, so she won't be home. "It's ok, you can just keep food in fridge, I can cook myself, and a little bit of cash too hehe" I said. "You naughty girl" .

"Anyways, Jisung came, but you were still asleep so he left." Granny said. "It's ok, I'll text him, I'll just skip class today, I'm gonna shower"

I took a cold shower and wore some comfortable shorts.

Grandma left and now I'm all alone. Since I'm not going to school I'll just go for a walk and a little shopping maybe. I went to the supermarket to buy some girls products and beverages, then I went to the local market. Don't ask me why I go to local market, they have so much more stuff here.

I tried all kinds of food in the market and bought some home, I bought seafood too. I'm planning on treating myself good food today. I grabbed my bike and rode to the park. I haven't rode it in a while, it feels great. I went home a while later.

I looked at the time and it's already 3pm. Wow, time really flies. I started to cook, I made crab fried rice, also I bought beef for bbq, also stir fried prawns. I finished with the prawns and rice, and it's already almost time for school to finish, wow it took me pretty long. I called Jisung.

"Yah! Jisung ah!" I said. "YAH YOU! WHY ARENT YOU COMING?" He shouted from the other line. "Miss me?" I said and giggled. "Oh anyways come to my house tonight, I made delicious food, call Haerin too" I continued. "Really?? I miss your cooking, We will go I'll tell Haerin" Jisung said. "Buy some drinks too I don't have any"

Hmm all done, just waiting for my guests. I checked the food again and I forgot to make soup, I looked for kimchi in the fridge and beef to make soup, we even ran out of salt... I have to go out again. It's getting a little chilly why am I cold.

I went out to buy some salt, and also bought other ingredients just in case in runs out. I also bought yogurt and ice cream. I was checking the bills then I saw a familiar friend. He looked at me shocked to see me as much as I'm surprised to see him.

He was getting green tea ice cream, I was about to act normal and smile at him but then I saw a girl walked to him and linked arms with him, he avoided eye contact and laughed happily with her, even when he laughed with me it wasn't to that extent. I tried to hold my tears.

They're walking closer, I feel shaky and sweaty. I feel like I'm going to faint. Why? I feel cold, I feel like my body is covered with ice, it's cold and I feel dizzy.

I tried to maintain my balance, "I will return your thing when I finish washing it" I said not looking at him. I was grabbing my things and was about to go out but I suddenly lost balance and almost fell, but he grabbed me with both hands, I pushed them away and said thanks before I leave.
