'Our Pace' [StrayKids; Hyunjin]

XI.

It's been almost 8 months(just think the school's system is dif from real schools I might miscalculate some numbers so I'm sorryyy)
since Hyunjin and I started dating. Things have gone smoothly, he's always taking good care of me.

Class is super boring, I'm so sleepy, I was too busy watching dramas last night. I lied my head on the desk and close my eyes for a while, then I felt someone touched and looked up to see no one but Hyunjin.

"Hey sleepyhead" He called me and smiled. "What? Stop smiling it's too cute for me to handle in the morning" I said while continuing to sleep. Then he moved closer to me and kept smiling and I pushed his face away. He grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"Stoppp I'm so sleepy, I didn't get enough sleep last night" I said. "I thought you slept when we ended the call? Did you lie to me? Wow, I feel like a fool." he said. "U-uh I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to bother you" "You were just watching your dramas were you?" He said while moving his chair next to me.

I looked at him with puppy eyes and he sigh. "Next time I'm going to call you every night and not going to end the call if you don't sleep" He said. I smiled at him and he just pinched my cheeks. "Oh, and don't forget about our date today, I'll see you at the cinema since I need to drop some things home" He continued.

~After class~

Finally class is overrr, I can stay with Hyunjin longer now. Hyunjin already went home, he said something urgent came up. I walked out of the school's gate and saw the faces I miss the most.

"HAN JISUNG KIM SEUNGMINNNNNNN!!!" I shouted and ran to hug them. "I miss you both so muchhhhh" I pretended to cry. "Awww My Ah Yoo I miss you tooo" Jisung hugged me. "Where are you two going?" I asked them. "We just had something to do nearby so we dropped to see you, where's Haerin?" Seungmin said. "She's on a family trip and also her boyfriend who's soon to be fiancé I say, only I am alone" I said and pout.

"Tch! You've got someone already brat!" Jisung said and ruffled my hair. I just smiled. Then Jisung picked up a phone call saying they need to go now. I hugged them one last time and watch them leave. This is so sad. Sad reacts only.

I almost forgot about my date, I rushed to the cinema and changed my clothes there. I tried to choose an outfit, I really suck at fashion, I just wear comfortable clothes but since my boyfriend is too handsome I don't want people to think he has such an ugly girlfriend.

I've been waiting for almost 45minutes, I called and texted him but there's no answer. The movie started since 10minutes ago, but I'm sure there are plenty of advertisements so I waited for him more. He took too long so I texted him to say I'm going in first. I even bought sweet flavor popcorn because he likes it. And also wearing skirts aside from my uniform feels weird, I'm used to pants and just comfortable you know.

The movie ended and still no sign from Hyunjin. Not even a text. I am worried. I just can't stay still I called him countless times and he doesn't pick up. I gave up, I went to his house, I rang the bell and saw his housemaid and she said he's not home. Now I'm even more worried.

Hwang Hyunjin where are you? I thought to myself walking down the road while holding my unfinished popcorn. I am at the bus stop and sat down while waiting for the bus, then it started raining heavily.

"What a bad day" I said to myself. I just held the popcorn in my hands, I didn't even finish half of it. The bus arrived and I got on it. I am walking home lifelessly. I arrived at my gate and saw a familiar figure. I put my popcorn on the floor and just went and hug him.

"YAH!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?! WHY DIDNT YOU ANSWER MY TEXT OR CALLS!! IM SO MAD AT YOU!" I said while hugging him and hitting him at the same time. He just chuckled and held my head closer to his chest. His smell will always be the best thing.

"Why are you so sweaty though" I asked him. "I ran here. I couldn't contact you back because there's a lot of things my parents needed help with so I was really busy, I'm sorry for leaving you alone" He replied while lying his chin on my head. I just gave out a big sigh. He broke the hug and went to the popcorn.

"Did you not finish this? Why did you buy sweet when you don't like it.. geez you fool" He said to me while eating a few pieces. "Who do you think I did that for" I told him and went to unlock the door. "Goodnight" I said still feeling a bit mad at him, I was about to close the door and he stopped me.

"Wait, my parents said I can stay with you overnight, to make up for my mistake" He said. "W-what do you mean stay over, I'm not talking to you" I pushed the door. "I'm gonna barge in or you're going to open it properly, you don't want your grandma to be scared" I gave up and let him in.

He met grandma and grandma seems to like him a lot, she even prepared mattress, pillows and blankets for him to sleep on the floor in my room. Why oh why.

We got upstairs and he rushed to the bathroom. "Yah! What are you doing?" I asked him. "Showering" A few minutes later he came out wearing his same shirt, I passed him my big hoodie that I always wear when I sleep to him.

"You have big clothes? Is it your ex's?" He asked me. "If it's your ex's I'm throwing it away" He continued. "It's mine, I wear them as night gowns oh gosh" I said. Then he continued "I didn't expect to see what I saw in your bathroom though, it really is, a girl's bathroom" He said. "It's normal for all girls ok! Try ask your mom. Why are you talking about it" I said feeling a bit shy. "Ok ok princess I understand" He said. That rat saw my unused pad I left in the bathroom this morning.

After shower I turned off the lights and turned on my lamp. I was going to continue my drama then Hyunjin just jumped on the bed and lied down with his head on my shoulder. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Doing what you're doing" I turned on my laptop and watched the drama. It's my turn to lean on him now. (Just imagine she's laying her head on Hyunjin like how Hyunjin lied on Changbin in Two Kids Room hehe)

"Ah Yoo! I'm hungry." He said. "I haven't had dinner" "Then why didn't you tell me!!!" I shouted at him. "Yahh don't shout! Do you get mad this easily when you're on your girls day." I slapped him with a pillow and went to make noodles for him.

We ate in my room while watching drama and I also have some snacks. We were really enjoying the time.

Bedtimeee. He went down to his mattress and put his hand up to my bed and I put my hand down so we're both holding hands now. My bed is not that high so it won't hurt his arm much.

"Goodnight pretty rat" he said.
"Goodnight liar" I said back. "If you call me that one more time-" I cut him off by saying. "Liar liar liar" While smiling then he jumped on the bed, gave me three pecks and went back down. "You say that more I'll kiss you with the same amount" He threatened me. We just went to sleep holding hands and I feel the happiest right now. I hope this moment lasts forever.
