Chapter 7: Preparations

~*~A month later~*~

This day has been good to me! I never had just one simple ‘normal’ month without rumours about me, curses about me, and even anyone bullying me. I wonder if this was just all a frickin dream.

These past few day I’ve been hanging around Yuu at lunch and go home together with the guys. But I’m still avoiding him… I needed some time to think and I guess I should at least talk to him. Poor guys might think I was going to ignore him till his whole life. I know I should be happy seeing my childhood friend. But to think that he is different than just a ‘friend’.

“Katsumi-chan, are you joining in?” I heard Kisa said, I looked at him curiously.

“Joining in on what?”

“Yukina’s birthday, it’s on next month, September!” he replied. I nodded

“Sure, sounds fun. But why so early?” I asked

“The earlier the merrier, ne~!” Yoshino added. Tori, Takano and Yukina are helping on something at class, so me, Kisa, Yoshino and Ritsu went out first.

“Takano and Hatori said they’ll take care of Yukina, they’re better at lying than us three” Ritsu also added, pulling a tongue out.

So cute. Just like a little Shouta! Then I turned to my left to see Kisa.

“Katsumi-chan, something wrong?” I heard Ritsu ask patting my shoulder as I’m holding my laughter, really I can’t hold it. (What a coincidence XD)

“I-It’s nothing Ritsu, I was just thinking of something”

“Okay then, what are we gonna do, Kisa-san?” Ritsu asked as we went inside the train and took our sit.

“Hmm… It’s hard to think of something that can make that sparkling super happy…” Kisa answered pouting. The three of us also sighed also adding on that fact. Knowing Yukina, he’s always happy-go-lucky and a guys who always smile. I can guess why we have to prepare a month early.

“Ok, but first, let’s have ideas on what to give him, a surprise party to sum it up will be a good chance of making him happy!” Ritsu added.

“Hmm… good idea. Yukina just said that his family will be leaving for business on his birthday, making him left alone in their apartment” Kisa said in a determined face. I chuckled.

“I’m gonna ask his parents and tell them it’s gonna be a surprise” he added.

“I will plan on the decoration, Onodera will buy the food  and snacks, if it’s alright with you” Yoshino added. Ritsu nodded to the idea.

“How about me, is there something I can do?” I pointed myself that I didn’t cooperate and I don’t want to be left out on planning for a friend’s birthday.

“Oh yeah I almost forgot! Katsumi do you know any flower shop near or cheap. Yukina will love flowers!” Kisa shouted at me which (almost) surprised me.

“Uh… yeah, in fact my brother works in one” I said coolly trying not to show how surprised I was by that.

“Nice! Roses will do the trick. Oh, our station is already here. See you guys next week~!” Kisa and Yoshino waved goodbye  as they left. Leaving me and Ritsu.

“So uh…” Both of us said at the same time.

“No, you go—“ Both again

“Ladies first” Ritsu said gesturing me.

“I… want to ask if we have any… homework’s?” I lied. Plus I don’t bother much in doing my homework… I wanted to how was Takano doing…?

“None much, what’s important is that test is coming out in 2 weeks!” Ritsu said as his eyes got depressed talking about the test.

“I know I’ll ask Takano-san for advice but his too busy about stuff” he added as I saw his cheeks in lit pink (YAOI, hohohoho!) I suddenly hugged Ritsu and he let out an ‘Agh’ when I did.

“You’re so cute Ritsu. Know what, how about I help you in your studies!” I offered. I don’t want to blabber, but test are so easy as pineapple!

Whoop, heheh sorry for that Mukuro-sama.

“T-Thank you Katsumi-chan…” he said with a smile that made my face heat up.
