Ashton's POV-

Not very long ago, we had finished eating and all of the dirty containers and plates sat on the coffee table, untouched. Calum, being done with all of our shit, took it upon himself to be the entertainer of the evening. So, we have been sitting here for the past two hours, watching re-runs of Full House. Calum loved this show.

Once in a while, I would clearly hear Katie laugh over Michael's cackles and Luke's scoffs. Her laugh was something else. It was soft, melodic even, and it could possibly set a child to sleep. Katie's laugh was something you only hear in movies, classy, yet unique and with it's own edge. Honestly, I could write a five-page essay on the sweet sounds thay escaped her lips once a comedic gesture was shown on tv, but, I feel that you would much rather hear what happened next.

Katie's phone had not stopped ringing ever since she got here. Of course, none of the other guys noticed because they're used to their phones constantly blowing up. But I did, and I only kept my eye out for the vibrations that constantly radiated off of her phone because I caught a short glimpse of who was calling her. Alex.

I found this extremely odd because he told me to restrain myself from making any contact with her, and here he goes, calling her nonstop. Not to be rude, but at the moment, he seemed like a giant hypocrite.

About halfway through another episode, it was evident that Katie had had enough of her phone. Her cheeks turned beet red as she stood up, announcing to everyone in the room, "I'll be right back,"

She stepped out into the hallway, her phone in her hand and she quickly slid the bottom of her screen. I couldn't hear what was going on outside, but I knew shit was gonna go down both here and there.

I had to speak my mind- I had to know what Michael was thinking. "What the fuck are you doing Michael?"

"What, Ashton?" He spoke defiantly, his voice threading a hint of frustration. It was crystal clear to me that he was not going to tolerate me, and he knew that I was no longer taking his bullshit.

I scoffed, standing up and crossing my arms over my chest. "You know I like Katie and yet you still go on and start flirting with her, all cuddled up on the couch, laughing and hugging-"

"Well, what the hell do you expect me to do?" Michael mirrored my actions, but instead of crossing his arms, he began to enunciate his words with arm movements. "You've been ignoring her for a week and now, she comes back after a really shitty day, I bet, and you act like a total dick."

Calum stood up, putting the program on pause and dropping the remote back on the couch. He placed a hand on my shoulder and the other on Michael's arm, as if he were breaking up a fight.

To be honest, Michael was like a brother to me, but at the moment, I would not hesitate to pinch his teeth in. "We shouldn't be fighting about this guys. Right Luke?"

"Don't bring me into this, I'm fine staying on the 'Alex is right' side." Luke muttered, beginning to pull out his earbuds and plugging them in. Calum, somehow, expected this because he was not surprised nor startled by Luke's answer like Michael and I were.

Sighing, Calum let go of us and allowed his hands to dangle on either side of me,"We should be talking about her phone,"

"You noticed that?" I asked truthfully. To be honest, I thought I was the only one that noticed the relentless vibrating her phone was doing.

Calum gave me a quick, yet affirmative, nod whilst Michael just ignored me completely. "Yeah, I saw Alex's contact call about five times,"

"Not only that," Calum chuckled, stating his facts, and clearly not believing what was happening. "I saw Taylor Momsen call her too, maybe even Mike Fuentes once or twice,"
