Chapter 9:

The next week passed really fast, which is odd because normally the week before Christmas appears to last an eternity. But it did, and that night was already December 24th, I was really sad, that was going to be the first Christmas I spent alone and sure enough not the last one.

But I wasn´t going to let that get into me, so I went down the stairs to the family room, and  connected my laptop to the TV. I put a movie on Netflix and made some popcorn.  In the middle of the movie, my doorbell rang. And I went to open it; it was Nash, and Cameron.

“hey, we thought you might be alone, and wanted to tell you that nobody should be alone for Christmas” Nash said.

“well thanks a lot for the reminder” I said a little annoyed, closing the door.

I overheard Cameron say to Nash:

“wow dude, real smooth.” In a sarcastic tone, then the doorbell rang again.

“what now Nash?!” I asked really annoyed this time.

“Nash’s an idiot, what we meant to say was that as nobody should be alone for Christmas, we wanted you to come over with us, and have Christmas dinner with Nash’s family” Cameron said.

“I don´t know, I wouldn’t want to annoy you or your family” I said calming down

“no really, I insist, actually it was my mom’s idea. And my brothers agreed”, and so I went, the Grier family welcomed me and we had a very nice dinner. When it was really late, I said goodbye and thank you and went out of the house.

“wait” Nash said turning me around and pulling me closer to him.

“Nash get off of me, what are you doing? I just want to go to m—“I was stopped by him kissing me, and as soon as he did it. I felt everything inside of me explode. I had never felt something like that with any other kiss I’ve ever had, and I had kissed a lot of guys in stupid parties and stuff.

After he let go of me I just went to my house and into my bed. What was that all about? Did he really mean it? Did he feel the same I felt? Did he just do it to confuse me and have fun? I thought all those things at once and then fell asleep without even knowing.

The next morning I took my laptop and opened it. Decided to go to YouTube to listen to some music and watch the O2L videos. I finished watching some of their new videos and I think I clicked one of the right section without noticing because it instantly changed to one that was captioned as “BEST VINES; FUNNIEST VINES EVER MADE 2013-2014” what is vine? I thought and   decided to watch it just to be curious.

As I started to watch it, I saw many weird “vines” that apparently are videos that only last 6 seconds. And I laughed a lot, I saw many vines from people I had never seen before but then, I saw one, and as soon as it started, my mouth dropped open, I couldn’t believe it, it was Nash.  I laughed at  his vine, then I started seeing more and more of his vines, and saw Cameron do some others too. I was really confused, and then, I saw an interview Nash had made, when it started I really couldn’t believe it, the interviewer said he had over 7 million followers and that he was bigger than Justin Bieber. Was that even possible? Him? Bigger than JB? What the fuck?.

 I decided to download vine and see for myself, so I made and account, and searched for “Nash Grier” he had a green checkmark, just like famous people do on twitter, he was verified? Whaaat? It made no sense what so ever. I clicked him and started watching his vines. They were really funny, and in those vines, he actually seemed like a good person.

Was he a good person?
