I was walking down the streets of Riverdale with my Best Friend Reggie and Moose. Reggie had his arm around me as usual and Moose had his around Midge. We were going to pops for a hang out but Reg is calling it a 'double date' were not dating but we act like it. We enter the kind of packed diner and found the only booth behind some serpents. I don't hate them because Jugheads my Friend But he knows I have to act like it due to who my family is. The l/n. The wealthy "pure" Northside family.bull crap Of am excuse I know. *mentally rolling eyes*. We sat down. Midge and moose next to each other and Reggie and I together opposite them. I feel Reggie tense and put his arm around my shoulder I look up to see who he's giving the death glare to. If only looks can kill. I see a serpent looking back at him darkly and then looking at me softly I gave him a small smile and turned to Reggie.
"Hey reg look at me" he looks at me
"Calm down please let's have one day without drama please and before you say I'm defending them. I'm not ok I'm just making sure your not gonna do anything stupid" he nods kissing my temple I do like this and him but I'm not ready yet.

We ordered our food and talked about random things like School or People. We laughed and joked until our food came. I ate mine in peace so did Midge but the boys kept on talking with mouths full. I look at Midge to find her doing the same and we both laugh. The boys look at us funny.
"What's so funny?" Moose asks
"Nothing" Midge And I say they roll their eyes and chuckle. Once we were all done we started to get ready to leave Moose went to pay. Since he lost the bet on who's paying when Midge brought up.
"You guys will be a cute couple" I smile looking at Reggie he winks and I giggle
"Ready?" Moose asks
"Let's roll" I beam Reggie exits the booth first and I slide out holding onto Reggie so I don't fall he laughs
"It's not funny I can't help my clumsiness" I pout he hugs me
"I know princess" he takes ahold of my hand as we pass the serpents we heard one mutter
"She'll be better without that scum"Reg turns around quickly facing their table.
"What you say reptile?" He spat
"You heard me flea bag" the shorter male serpent said
"She's my girl not yours Scaly" I stifle a laugh at the name he said but blushed when he called me his girl
"Sure about that?Hey baby want a good time with us?" The short serpent asked I laughed
"Do you like your front teeth?" He nods
"Well you ain't gonna have any when I'm done with you so I suggest you shut your mouth or there's gonna be problems" I start to get angry who does he think he is. Chuck Clayton. No thankyou delt with that ain't going through that again.
"Feisty I like it" he winks I go up to him
"Give me a reason why I shouldn't punch you square in the face?" I say I can tell Reggie was amused by his smirk
"Fangs don't say anything stupid" the taller serpent said worriedly I've met him before sweet pea I think his name was right?
"Well this pretty face" he said cockily pointing to his face I laugh sarcastically answering
"Wrong answer" I punch him in the face and he falls back into the seat
"Stay in your glass cabinet snake" I hiss strutting out the diner with Reggie behind me. He picked me up from behind and span me around
"That was awesome baby" he cheered I laugh Midge laughs with Moose. He put me back down facing me
"Y/n I really love you I have for a while I know you may not be ready for a relationship but -" I cut him off by kissing him passionately
"I love you too Reginald" I reply he smiles before kissing me again with love
"You owe me 30 dollars Moose" I hear Midge say
"Go REGGIE!" Moose cheers we pull away blushing
"Be mine?" He asks
"I was yours from the start" I giggle at my cheesiness
