The night was filled with stars as the little droplets of rain hit the concrete softly. It was very peaceful, especially to y/n. She stared out her window and watched the rain stream down her window soft jazz-like music played in the background at a volume that wasn't too loud but was enjoyable. The dimmed room made her feel at peace but something was missing. More like someone was missing. She looked at her screen searching for his name which wasn't hard she clicked it and waited. "Hello?" Hey Reg it's me Y/n hey what's up are you okay? I'm okay thanks you? I'm good thanks what's up why did you call at ... 1 AM?! I uhh was wondering if you would like to go for a walk? At one AM? Uh yeah? I'll be round in five Oh Reggie thank you The things I do for you y/n I appreciate you very much reg Hope so I'll see you in a bit love. Bye Bye.
Y/n fell back onto her chair and smiled at the thought of her best friend whom she loves dearly. Reggie loves y/n more than anything but he's afraid. Afraid that the feeling is mutual that she sees him nothing more than a best friend so he keeps it quiet as best he could even though it's eating him up.
Heavy footsteps pulled y/n out of her trance as she stood to wait for him. He walked through the bedroom door. When they see each-other the world seems to slow down the impossible feel possible. Butterflies seem to burst out of the two. He's madly in love with her as she's completely in love with him.
He walked up to her and hugged her tightly her head lays on his chest as they embrace each other for what seems to anyone else a long time but to them it was perfect. "Ready for our walk?" Reggie mumbled into her hair inhale her coconut and vanilla scent which compelled him. With a nod of her head, the two friends left the warm home to a mist of rain and mild heat which was unusual for them. Taking her hand in his they walk along the empty road enjoying their environment and company. Y/n released her hand from his and laid on the hard surface of the road squinting as rain hit her face. The Asian boy looked behind him to see where she had gone and laughed slightly at where her placement was. "You're gonna get sick love," he says trying to pull her up "I don't care Reggie don't ruin my vibe" she laughed spreading her arms and lifting her legs slightly Reggie thought for a moment he stared at her. He admired her beauty. She was an angel to him crafted by god himself. He never felt like this with any girl. It's always been her. It will always be her. He pulled himself out of his thoughts and chuckled at her as she laughed at herself. He laid down beside her. "Well if you're gonna get sick then so am I" he turned to face her she smiled at him the two stayed on the floor for a few moments then sat up. Y/n stood stretching her body she stretched out a hand to Reggie which he gladly took and holstered himself up. They stared at each other for a while. Reggie's thoughts were racing as her heart raced with them. He placed a hand on the small of her back. "Y/n I gotta tell you something that's been eating me alive" he confessed. The young girl raised a brow at the taller boy. "What is it, Reggie?" Her voice was soft and full of concern but she was hopeful "I don't want to ruin what we have but I need to tell you... I love you. So much you make life soo much happier as well as bearable you're my best friend and I can't think of my life without you in it. You don't have to say anything you can walk away if you like. But nothing will ever stop me from loving you" after the mantle boy finished his confession y/n heart warmed up she smiled hard and hugged him it took him a few seconds to process the event that was unfolding right before his eyes. Reggie wrapped his arms around the girl's waist. The embrace was different than before but it felt right for them. Y/n looked at Reggie through her lashes. Her hands gliding up his chest to lace them around his neck. "I love you too Reginald. Soo much" with that Reggie leaned in. Their lips met halfway and like a loose cannon fireworks went off. The feelings of love and passion melted into the kiss as the rain danced around them. Y/n cupped his cheeks with both of her hands her thumb gliding around his face. Reggie's hands snaked around her face. The rain started to fall heavier as they had there moment.

The couple pulled away and looked at one another lovingly. "Soo" y/n started off "Please be my girlfriend?" Reggie spoke smiling "I wouldn't love anything more darling" was y/n reply as she connected her lips with him. Their hearts full and the missing pieces of the puzzle connected they felt complete. "Let's go home?" Reggie suggested "Let's" she took his hand and the pair practically ran home...
