sakura was up early in the morning, training at one of the many empty training grounds. 

jumping from tree to tree, she was attempting to hit every single one of her shuriken at the bullseye. 

what she didn't realize, was every single male from the academy was standing behind the gate watching her.

when she jumped, to start her first run, she heard a scream.

"go sakura-chan go!" 

it caught her off guard, and she couldn't start her run.

when she landed on the ground, she sent a glare to the audience, who all pointed over at one boy, sasuke uchiha.

she would be lying if she said she didn't find him a little attractive. 

because she found him, very attractive. 

she let it slide, and sighed. there was no time for another run anyways, they would be getting their genin teams very soon.

sakura, along with her long line of fanboys followed her towards iruka senseis class. some boys, weren't allowed in as they were in other classes. sasuke and shikamaru, very proudly marched in after sakura.

the two rivals pushed each other out of the way.

"hey duckbutt, i came in first, i get to sit with sakura!"

"you wish pineapple hair! obviously i came in first, idiot."

"you two are so loud. keep it down." ino groaned from behind them, she was trying to sleep.

"i don't get how you're so smart when all you do is sleep." shikamaru scoffed.

ino just shrugged and went back to snoring.

in the meantime, sasuke had snuck off towards sakura.

"sakura-chan~ can i sit beside you?" he mused, leaning against the desk.

sakura glanced at him.

"do what you want." she mumbled softly. 

his eyes gleamed as he slyly slid into a spot beside her. 

"sasuke! dude get out of my spot!" shikamaru went to go sit in the spot on the other side of sakura, but didn't notice naruto already sitting there.

"oh. hey naruto, sorry, i didn't see you there." shikamaru mumbled.

"o-oh! hi shikamaru...do you want to sit...?" 

"don't worry!! i'll just uh- sit...by ino or something." he softly groaned and left.

"don't worry so much, naruto." sakura said.

naruto gave a shy nod.

he was probably the only boy who wasn't head over heels for her.

and that was because he had eyes for one of her friends, hinata.

speaking of hinata, she just barged into the room.
