IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK: MY BAD BOY | JENNIE X JIMIN, THEN THIS STORY WON'T MAKE ANY SENSE.THIS IS ROSÉ'S POINT OF VIEW FROM THAT STORY, AND WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN HER AND JIMIN.

-------------------------------------

Most people's high school experience is like the best thing ever. Well, I felt like I was cursed through those four years. I was hurt so many times that it felt unreal. And the person who hurt me the most was the person I trusted the most. My best friend or ex-boyfriend...Jimin...

Jimin was with me through every bad and good, but suddenly before 12th grade he just decided we're not friends anymore. He became popular and I didn't. He ignored me.

Until one day... He asked me out. Honest to God, I  thought he was being serious, and we might become those people again who had this unbreakable friendship, maybe love. We had sex at a party. The next morning I woke up in the same bed alone. I was shaking because I had a whole hangover. I tried calling Jimin but he didn't pick his phone up. I thought maybe he was sleeping, or driving or something.

After two days I went to school, and I tried searching for Jimin. I saw him kissing another girl. He saw me crying, but it seemed like he didn't care. Who knew how many girlfriends he had. I was so happy going off to college, thinking I didn't have to talk to him anymore. Oh, how naive I was.

There was this camp thingy where you could get to know other students. I got put into one tent with two other girls. Jisoo and Lisa. They already knew each other, so I felt a little out of place.

When we all had to go and introduce ourselves, that's when I saw him.

Park Jimin.
With blonde hair. Shit.

When I saw him I got shocked. He was with Taehyung, both of them were sitting on a bench that was under a tree. Jimin was wearing sunglasses, but I still knew it was him because he was wearing the same bracelet I gave him in 9th grade. Our friendship bracelet. I also wore it all the time. How come he still had it?

"Chae, you okay?" Jisoo asked me.

"Yeah."I nodded, still staring at Jimin who turned towards me. I couldn't see his eyes through his sunglasses, but I assumed he was just as shocked to see me as I was.

"Why are you staring at that guy?" Lisa gave me a weird look.

"He's an old friend..." I said.

I went over to the chairs where we had to sit down, to introduce ourselves. The students started gathering up, but there were seven seats left. The teachers already arrived, and they started getting worried that the seven boys weren't coming.  They arrived a tiny bit late, but since they were idols, somehow they were excused. They just casually sat down and Jimin hopped down on the empty seat next to me making me feel nervous and scared at the same time.

"Okay, let's start." The teacher smiled and introduced herself. After that, the other teacher introduced herself and then came the students. After the whole round was done, we had lunch and we went back to our tents, packing out and then we had a few programs later. I wasn't bored one bit, it was awesome. We didn't want to sleep at night, we talked about so many fun things and memories. I had to go to the toilet at night, so I went outside. I didn't turn on my flashlight around the tents, because I was afraid someone would notice me. The bathrooms were inside the forest, so they weren't really practical.

"What are you doing here at night?"
I heard a soft voice speak behind me. Of course, I recognized it.

I turned around and I saw Jimin. "Going to the bathroom,  what else would I do?" I rolled my eyes. "And why aren't you sleeping?"

"I didn't know there was a curfew." He laughed, running his hand through his blonde hair. In his other hand, he was holding a cigarette box and a lighter.

"You smoke?"My eyes widened, almost shouting from the surprise.

" That is not mine..." He shrugged, looking at the pack in his hands and showed me the light with another guy's name on it. " Anyways, It's nice that we are in the same school again, isn't it?"

"No." I shook my head. "It's horrible."

He rolled his eyes and started joking sarcastically. "I'm surprised you're not happy to see me. I thought we were friends." He smirked at me.

"Yeah, with your old self." I nodded and I started playing with the friendship bracelet on my hand due to nervousness.

" Right." He left out a sigh at the sudden mention of his past. " Um...  Do you know where the bathroom is?"

" No, I'm searching for it, too..." I said awkwardly. Suddenly a bird flew out of one of the trees and I exclaimed in fear. " Holy shit!"

He chuckled at my scream. " It's just a bird. Not a ghost."

" I'm not going any further," I told him. " You know what... I will go pee behind this bush and... You can go find the bathroom for yourself."

At that moment he reached his hand out in a friendly way, offering to hold mine. I accepted it and I placed my cold palm into his warm one.  We walked over to the other side of the lot, going through the forest. It didn't even take long for us to find the bathroom. Thankfully it was empty. But it had a bat on the inside. Nothing could surprise me anymore at that point.

"You still have the bracelet." I sighed looking at Jimin's wrist. "You told me that nothing could ruin our friendship and that we'd be friends forever."

"I'm so sorry..."He looked away. I knew he remembered everything.

" At least you are..." I said." Jimin, don't hide between this fake persona. Because it's hurting you."

He didn't really know what to answer, he just wrapped his arms around me and buried his head in my shoulder. " You've always been a great friend." He told me. " And I'm sorry for that night, I really am."

" Blonde hair looks good on you," I said, changing the topic immediately. " As if it was your natural."

" Really?" He raised his brows, touching his hair shyly. " You like it?"

" Yeah." I nodded and then cleared my throat.  "I'm going into the bathroom,"

" Me too..." He said scratching his collarbones. " Should I wait for you or is it okay if I won't?"

" You don't have to." I smiled.  As I got inside, I let out a deep sigh. Jimin was still the same person. Just more mature and with a different style. He didn't change. He only showed that to make others think he wasn't a nerd anymore.
