She playfully placed her ear against my chest,
And said with a soft giggle:
"I can't hear your heart, daddy."
My heart swelled up
With all the inside love
And I placed my young sunshine on my lap
"How could you,"
I asked, "When it's with you?"
My little flower smiled
And pecked me on the cheek
"I love you, dad."
"I love you too, honey."
