~~Hunters POV

I turned around as soon as the twig snapped. I could definitely tell it was a foot step, just something about it.

A quick glance of what was there was enough to send me running. I knew it was a zombie, it's rotting features, but it did look somewhat sane. It's movements were not as slurred.

As i made my escape, a tree root took hold of my ankle, sending me colliding with the cold, muddy surface. Crap!

I turned around to come face to face with the beast, Although this wasn't a beast. Well she is, but a beautiful one. The zombie stood there- looking scared? That's a new sight. Yikes I think I twisted my ankle when I fell, that's not good.

The Zombie stood there with an apologetic expression. Why is she not eating me.

"S-s-so- sor- sorry-.." it spoke in a croaky and husk voice. Wait did it just speak?!! Zombies can't speak what the hell is going on?!

"What the hell?! You can speak?!" I asked. Now I'm totally freaked out. But I didn't stay like that for very long. The zombie doesn't look very scary. She has the typical features of one, the extended bones at the finger tips, the somewhat rotting skin? Wait hers isn't, it's just really dry. The, what is supposed to be white in her eyes are a crimson red, but her iris's are the colour they always where. Her teeth are elongated and sharp. Sorry, that's the bad side. She's actually really pretty- for a zombie.

The iris colour is a gorgeous blue. It reminds me of the ocean, the ones I see in pictures. So clear and light, and blue and just beautiful. Her hair was a dark blonde, but the tips where originally dyed a rose red colour. She had freckles, and damn she wears them so cute. She's pail though. Very pail. Her stance is shy, intimidated, but scared. Very scared.

"Y-yes..." She replied. I even forgot i asked her a question, I guess she took that time to find her air to speak.

"How?! Zombies can't speak!" Is this just some type of zombie trick she has? Damn zombies are smarter than me now.

"I.. n-no zom-zombi-" she looked down at her self, and dropped to the floor. I'm going to die aren't I? "H-how? T-this c-c-cant be-be happening. . " She said, her voice clearing a little.

"Zombies are never conscious... Maybe your not a zombie?" I asked, trying to find a little hope for myself. Plus, she's really pretty, I'm not going to let her die out hear.

"M-may-maybe. . " Her voice is still really rough. Oh god, she's probably really thirsty.

"Do you want some water?" I asked. Her head shot up and nodded, like she just remembered. I was amused slightly by this. I handed her a bottle of water. "That can be your bottle from now on," I stated.

She took it, thanked me with a nod and begun to drink. She must be really thirsty, since it's gone within 10 seconds.

"Thank you..." She said in a small whisper. Her voice doesn't sound so rough, but God does it sound so adorable in a Whisper.

"Y-your welcome." It was my turn to stutter. God smooth move Hunter. She looked up at me and smiled. I honest to god, that must have been one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen, zombie or not.

I untangled my leg, and attempted to stand, but to no prevail. I let out a small hiss, staring down at my ankle. It was definitely not broken, but it had swolen quite a bit, leaving a nasty bruise. Crap! I sprained it. That's not going to be good in a zombie apocalypse. What if this girl turns around, stuns me with that gorgeous smile... Pretty eyes, adorable freckles... Cute nose... Wait what! No. No no... No. I ain't gay! Right? Holy shiza. Why am I even thinking or worrying about sexualities? It's a zombie apocalypse for Christ sake... I was going to say, what if she eats me... Totally not Stubbs me with her gorgeous features, Jesus Hunter get a hold of yourself.

Oh no I've been staring! Wait what's that noise? A car? Plane? Helicopter?...

No.

Zombies.
