Chapter Six - Pain. A lot Of It.

~~Rose's POV~~

I woke up to a sharp pain in my stomach. Like, mega sharp. Did Hunter stab me?!

I look down at the sleeping beauty, she hasn't moved. No, this pain was on the inside, my actual stomach. I gently slid Hunter off of me, and hunched over in the corner. The pain was unbearable. It's like something is trying to claw its way out. I let out a phew whimpers, but that was enough to wake up Hunter.

Her eyes immidietly clouded with worry as she cautiously made her way towards me.

"W-what is going on?" She asked. But I can't reply, hell just got let loose inside my stomach too.

"Oh my god are you a zombie? A zombie zombie now?!" I shook my head. I shook it very fast. Of course I'm not turning, that's stupid-

A scream. Hunter screamed. Why am I over here now? I rolled over, turns out I had pinned Hunter down, sorry. I clenched my stomach again, I can't breathe it's so bad.

"Why did you do that?!" She says in tears. I look up at her like 'do what now?' but more like 'wtf do you mean I'm dying here'.

"I thought you tried to bite me, you went wild!" She says shuffling as far back as she can from me.

"I.. i-.. don't remember.." I manage to say through gritted teeth. Hunter just watched, like she was thinking, thinking really hard. Then she just got up, and left.

Why did you leave? Are you coming back? Please don't leave me like this, I might actually die, I want to see you why are you leaving me like this. I started to cry now, the pain was so bad, and the thought of Hunter just leaving and never coming back haunted me. I'm going to die alone aren't I? I need you Hunter why did you just leave me like this?

I took notice that I was thinking like this for about 15-20 minuets. The pain has increased astonishingly. I was still crying, but then Hunter walked back through the door. She just knelt down besides me, but covered my eyes with her hand.

"Eat this..." She said, and there was no room for argument, so I did as she wished. She fed me something that was.. covered in sauce? It tasted bloody amazing, like sweet and sour sauce on rice/ meat noodles? I can't tell what it is, but whatever it was, it eased the pain. Hunter took notice to me relaxing slightly, and let a phew tears drop. I gathered enough strength to look up at her, and wipe the tears away.

"What's wrong?..." I managed to weakly say. She just started crying more. What the hell?

I sit up and try to hug her, but she pushes me away. What has gotten into her, does she still think I'm a threat? Maybe the whole stomach dying thing scared her? God sake.

"W-what you ate," she starts.

"Yeah, what was it? It tasted good," that made her cry more. Seriously? Stop crying!

"A squirrel's brain."
