After Pine discovers her newfound 'powers' she must use them to get back to Will and save him as a new threat arises, getting a little help from Thorn along the way.

-Trick or Treat Freak-
The next few days were quiet. Hopper would go to work, the girls would watch try to entertain themselves, El would try to reach Mike, then Hooper would come home. Finally it was October's end.
Pine woke with El shaking her. "What?" She groaned "It's Halloween!" El replied excitedly Pine gave her a confused look. What were they to do on Halloween that would make El so excited? They couldn't leave.
Pine got up and walked groggily to the kitchen, leaving El behind her. She sat at the table and just about fell asleep on it. "Tired?" Hopper asked snickering "Mhmm." Pine groaned "Have another dream?" He asked a bit cautiously. Pine shook her head. However, she was lying. "Oh, uh that's good." Pine dreamed of Will again. Will and the Upsidedown. "What do you want for breakfast?" Hopper asked. "I'm not hungry." Pine replied.
Just then, El walked in covered in a sheet like a ghost. "OH!...Jesus!" Hopper yelped startled as he turned around. "Ghost!" El said "Halloween." "Sure is." Replied Hopper as he set some toast in front of Pine. "Now it's breakfast. Okay? Come on, let's eat." "They wouldn't see me." "Who wouldn't see you?" "The bad men." "What are you talking about?" "Trick or treat." "You wanna go trick or treating?" Hopper sighed "you know the rules." "Yes but-" "Then you know the answer." "But! They wouldn't see me!" "Yes they would." Pine interrupted while picking at her toast. Hopper and El both looked at her. An uncomfortable silence filled the air. "What? They would. We can't go out. You'd wanna go find Mike but, nobody's supposed to know about us. It just wouldn't work." El huffed and walked out of the room. "Pine, you doing ok?" Hopper asked concerned. "I'm fine. I'm just telling her the truth."
Hopper had been lucky enough to not have hit the moody teenager phase from from El but Pine was a different story. He left with a regretful look, like he wished he could stay longer. Pine always noticed that look, it was a common look. It's like when you have to leave your dog at home when you go to work. You feel bad and you wish you could stay, but you just can't. So you leave regretfully.
The rest of the day was quiet. El watched Halloween movies with Pine who halfway payed attention. Hopper got home late that night. That's where everything started to go wrong. No one noticed it at first. No one ever notices until it's too late.
