Right after dinner, which I must say was the best ones I have ever had, we headed to the forts for the games.
It was amazing how the legionares could build something so massive in a day. When Dakota told me that they had built it themselves, I'd thought it would be made of flimsy cardboard, but ot was actually made of rocks and bricks.
Fred had announced that the 3rd, 4th and 5th Cohorts were defending while the other 2 were attacking.
Time skip to invasion of the 1st and Second Cohorts.
"ATTACK! " The centurions of the attacking cohorts yelled and charged the fort.
Dakota had told him that the Fifth always lost. So no one really tried. Except me.
I leapt at a legionare and knocked him out with the butt of my sword and got my sword stuck in another's armor. Without my sword, I threw myself at Damian.
This was one example of size doesn't equal strength.
I jumped onto Damian, who was laughing at my attempt, and his laugh abruptly became a strangled scream/choked gargling as I dug my fingers into his armpits and tickled him. Trust me, this may seem funny, but you really wouldn't want to swap places. The guy had a terrible BO problem.
The others saw my attack and, rejuvenated, attacked with ferocity. Before long, the First and Second were driven off and the defenders had won.
So I did update, but I realise the title doesn't really fit. I'm not particularly proud of this chapter, but at least I updated. I won't discontinue the book, I think, but I guess I won't really update as often. But if you message or comment for an update, I'll try harder.
