We searched everywhere for others in the second floor, they didn't seem to appear so we proceeded upstairs to the third floor instead. In the third floor, there are unique classrooms such as music class, art class, drama class, etc. The classes are used sometimes as club rooms, in their respective subjects.
"I remember seeing Rebecca in the music class once every week," said Evelyn, "She must be in that room then."
"Yeah, let's go check then."
We took a trip around the halls just to get to Music classroom. At the same time, mixing bizarre and horror, we saw the windows and doors stained in blood. Blood had started to become a part of Adrienne's curse and it made us feel uncomfortable. When we walked to the door, it wasn't locked. We entered and saw Howard and Rebecca, dying and died respectively. The whole room was nearly covered in blood whilst the floor was thinly flooded with it.
"Howard? Rebecca? What happened?!" said Evelyn. We were shocked and worried. We approached them.
"He... he attacked us..." replied Howard, as he is closer to death.
"Who attacked you?" I asked.
"Mr. Phillips..."
The words from Mr. Parker had rushed into my head: "There is a culprit behind it, perhaps an adult responsible." We were even more shocked at this point. We never thought Mr. Phillips could be a murderous individual, maybe his true self is revealed.
"What... what did you guys do?"
"We were around in the staff room... until we saw an unwashed knife covered in blood... in one of his drawers. Rebecca was the one warning me... that we should be running before Mr. Phillips finds out..."
"Did he enter?" asked Evelyn.
"Yeah... he entered... we saw his secret, his true nature exposed by us... he told us we should keep a secret between him and us, but we declined... we didn't want a teacher that bloodsheds someone..."
The puzzles were solved. "The Murder of 2001... he said he spent more than twenty years and counting teaching in this school..." I said. More truths had been revealed. "Where do you think he is at now?"
"I'm not sure... he is probably going after Sheldon..."
"Evelyn... I think we need to leave now before Sheldon is the next target!" I said, scared.
"Before you guys leave... I want you to have this..."
Howard was giving me a diary, with Adrienne's name on it and a fruit flavoured pen. The items he was giving me could lead me into her past again, and of course her story about her writing in her diary could be the ugly and mean. I touched the pen and the diary anyways, flashbacking me into her past.
The flashback I travelled had took place in a class, where Adrienne's diary was at Abigail's hands. A group of few people at her table was eager to know what was written in the diary.
"Now listen carefully, this is about to get real cheesy here." said Abigail.
"We're heard you." said one guy, excited.
"Okay, okay! So it's written here in this paragraph, she's talking about her crush!" she said, "Now let's see who her crush is... it's Damien Campbell!"
Everyone went "OoOoo!"
"But him and her rarely talk, how are you gonna gossip to everyone else when you and him don't talk that often too?" said one girl.
"I have ways, of course Damien and I talked before but I didn't want him to know yet." she said, "Okay, now shut up! She wrote this here: The first time I met him, it felt like love in my head, and perhaps everywhere. His eyes, his hairstyle, his way of clothing, everything! Since then, I stalked him on Instagram. I followed him and liked few of his pictures, I didn't want him to explode his notifications my spamming likes in his profile. I was waiting for him to follow me back, but I don't know when. One day, if I had the courage to ask him out, I'll take him to the best place in town and he'll love it. Days, weeks, months can be wait if he's available. I felt scared for some reason because he's friends with Kevin, and hell, I never knew Kevin could be the only meanest one in school. I felt like an absolute idiot for leaving him with my fear, after all he had done to me. Of course Kevin is attractive, but Damien is all I want."
"O.M.G.!" said one other girl, "So she did really like him!"
"I have a plan to gossip with others, we can help make the big reveal to him."
"But Abigail, what if Damien finds out?" asked the guy.
"Hmm, a tricky one... but Damien isn't here today, so I guess I have to warn everyone that he shouldn't be notified about Adrienne having a crush on him."
"Well good point, are you gonna make a poster about it?"
"Not a poster, I don't want that. Perhaps I could use sa paper and marker, and don't worry, the prefects are gonna take it down later anyway." she said, "I require paper and marker please!"
"Yes, coming right up!" said one girl.
The scene later took place at corridors. There were already about more than five people, looking at the paper pasted by Abigail on bulletin board outside of a class. Meanwhile, Adrienne was walking by them, staring at her.
"Why is everyone staring at me?" she thought, "What is going on? Why are they staring at some paper on the bulletin board?" They made space for her to walk by and she saw the paper, that was written: ADRIENNE'S GRAND REVEAL: DAMIEN IS HER #1 CRUSH!
"Oh look, there goes her petrified look." Everyone went laughing at her.
"Oh God... this is... no... no... no!" Adrienne was struck with fear and started running away. The prefects later took down the paper from the bulletin board. Later in class, her diary and her fruit pen was thrown into the class rubbish bin and walked away in sorrow. Howard, being in the same class as us had witnessed her doing it. He took her diary and the pen out of the bin. He didn't want to read or return it to her, because he knew what happened. He decided to keep both in his locker until further notice. Nobody then knew he had it stored.
The flashback was over, back to the present.
"You... you collected these from a bin?" I asked.
"How did you know? You weren't there in class when I took it..."
"It's a long story... about how I knew it..." I awkwardly replied, "We should better take you to the infirmary."
"No... it's too late now... I'm losing way a lot of blood and I couldn't get up... the stab wounds just seem to make it worse and I'm dying... very... very... slowly..." Howard coughed.
"Then what are we gonna do without you?" asked Evelyn.
"You better run away from Mr. Phillips... or gather anyone alive to face him... I wish I fought back but I made a wrong choice by leaving Damien... this is how I ended up when I did..." he said, as death was about to hit him.
"If the school was the back to normal... how will Miss Bad Demeanour continue?"
"The band... will no longer continue... and please... if everyone asks... tell them that... we both would like to thank them... for being the part of us... especially you..." he said, "Now run..."
He then closed his eyes, meaning that he is finally deceased in his final stages. Evelyn had her tears shed as their band had disbanded due to their deaths. "I think it's time for us to go..." I said.
We both left the music room, in sorrow.
