I opened my eyes, after being hit and passed out. I was somehow blind at first, but then there was girl looking at me. She wasn't Rebecca or Evelyn, or even Abigail. It was some unknown girl who happened to wear the circular glasses and have that long straight hair worn with a pink bow. She was wearing a dark red dress with white neck and wrist collars.

"He's awake, sir." she said, looking at the man she was associated with. She had that timid look on her face when she saw me opening my eyes. Honestly, I didn't seeing her at all in the school. Was she a hallucination?

"Good. Let him have time to get up." said the man. I still felt unconscious after what happened. Actually, I felt something wrapped around my head; it was a bandage. I think my forehead might've bled when I hit something during that intense earthquake.

"W-where am I?" I asked. I looked around the room and it looked like the guidance counsellor's office. Of course I've been here before but again, who was this man?

"I believe you were in a coma when we saw you lying on the floor. Your forehead seemed to be bleeding, but we got that patched up." said the man, putting his arms on the armrest of the chair. He was just sitting at the desk, wearing a black suit with a red tie. His facial hair was just a beard and moustache. His hair looked like as if it was gelled or freshly out of the shower, having the sideburn look. His arms are quite hairy and the triangular name sign was labelled as 'Mr. Parker' on the desk, filled with papers.

"I don't remember seeing you here... are you the new guidance counsellor?" I honestly thought he was a hallucination too,

"Well, I can't say how long I've been here personally but as you read the on the sign, let us introduce ourselves. Please, take a seat." As he commanded me, I got up and pulled the chair. I sat down in it and made myself comfortable by getting a bit closer to his desk. "Charlotte, if you're kind enough to give this boy a glass of water, please do."

"I'm on it," she said, going to the back getting a glass.

"So, to start our conversation, we would like know your name." He was looking at me in a smart manner, I was kind of nervous but I did reply with my name to him,

"Damien... Damien Campbell,"

"It's surprising how your parents gave you such perfect name to describe your timid personality. I am Rafael Parker, but please do call me formally by Mr. Parker."

Charlotte, returned back to the desk and placed a glass of water on it, offered to me. "Thank you," I thanked, then I drank a sip, "But honestly I'm not much of an introvert in the school,"

"And this beautiful assistant of mine is named Charlotte. However, she is quite younger than you as I know it, so you may be free to befriend her." She approached and stood beside him with a tiny smile aiming at me, bowing at me.

"Um, glad to." I was looking around again, I noticed outside through the windows that the whole scenery is completely pitch-black. "Mr. Parker, I have an urgent question."

"Spill it out."

"What exactly happened to the school?" I asked, "I see blank but a pitch-black colour through the window, it is as if it's covered with a black paper with an interesting... non-paper texture,"

"I am afraid to say that that a curse had hit the academy." He got up and walked to the window, staring at it, "This is because a girl who disappeared about half a year ago went through something serious, but we can't say she actually disappeared. There is a culprit behind it, perhaps an adult responsible." He returned to his desk and sat down.

"Are you referring to Adrienne Callum? The girl you're talking about?"

"Indeed. I've heard you recently had a dream about her," he said. I was about to tell a story, but he stopped me, "Stop. I know the whole thing."
