Chapter 7

The Jellical Ball was over and it was time to say goodbye to everyone. "I will miss you all, I'll see you all next year when the Jellical Moon comes out once again," said Munkustrap, looking amongst the cats. Everyone said goodbye and i said goodbye to my friends and the others before I went to join Cori and Tanto. I've grown increadably close with everyone, especially Cori and Tanto. Tanto was is like a sister to me, bestfriends for life.

Once we all parted ways I followed Cori and Tanto, they lead me into the woods that looked increadably old and creepy. Cori made sure to stay close to me. He was increadably protective over me and I found it extreamly adorable and sweet.

They lead me to an old mansion, it was quite big and looked even creepier than the woods. I was increadably nervous, what if their owner doesn't like me? Cori nuzzled his head on mine and lead me to an open window, i guessed this was how they got in and out of the house. They wandered the mansion, letting me get used to things. They then lead me to a room, the door was slightly open, Cori pushed the door open more with his head. Both him and Tanto meowed, letting their owner know they were here. The woman turned around and....

She didn't look like a witch, just an innocent and harmless old woman, she looked down at Cori and Tanto, greeting her loved pets and then turned her gaze to me. I got super nervous. Cori came up to me and nuzzled his head on top of mine and looking up at his owner. "Branwen, this is my mate, Y/N" he looked up at his owner, happily. She looked at me and smiled, clapping her hands. "Oh! How beautiful! Our Coricopat has got himself a little girlfriend, and my she is a pretty one," she smiled and kneeled down and held her hand out to me. I guess I could trust her, she seems friendly. I looked over at Cori and Tanto and they both nodded their heads towards me, Cori nuzzled his head on mine. "It's okay, Sweet Pea," said Branwen. I slowly moved forward and sniffed her hand. Cori and Tanto trust her, so i can to. I nuzzled my head on her hand and purred. She smiled down at me and ran her hand through my fur. She retrieved her hand and got back up. She went over to the freezer, this just so happened to be a kitchen. "What would you like for dinner?" she looked at the three of us. I looked at her confused. Can she understand us? Coricopat chuckled and sat next to me. "She can understand all animals, she is a witch you know," he said in an amused tone. I was shocked and looked back up at the woman named Branwen. She looked down at me with a sweet smile. "It's nice to have a new member of the family," she took out some cat food from out of the cupboards. She smiled at the three of us. "Go wait in the living room, your dinner will be done soon," We all obeyed, Cori and Tanto lead me to the living room. Cori jumped up onto the sofa, Tanto following him. "Come on, Y/N," said Cori and Tanto in union. I jumped up onto the sofa and i laid against Cori.

A few minutes had passed and Branwen came back with three cat bowls full of cat food. "Get it while it's hot," he giggled after her statement and set the bowls onto the hard dark wooded floor. We all jumped down and made our way over to the bowls. The two bowls had their names on it, while the one i was eating out of was white with pink and black butterflies on it.

"Okay kitties, bed time," Brenwen said, clapping her hands twice while smiling. Cori and Tanto walked over to the large stairs, I followed close behind, not wanting to be left behind or get lost, so I stayed close to Cori, following them to a large bedroom, Brenwen following behind. Cori and Tento jumped up, landing on the bottom of the bed, once they got up they looked down at me. Cori gave me a reasuring smile and gestured me to go up. Brenwen smiled. "Go ahead, Sweetheart, you're a part of our family now," she was so kind and sweet. I smiled and jumped up onto the bed. I laid next to Cori, resting my head on his shoulder. Brenwen quickly got dressed in the bathroom and came out, giving the three of us one last stroke and peck on the head before laying down in her bed. "Good night, my darlings," then we all fell alseep. I think I was going to really enjoy it in my new home.
