Chapter 29. Legendary Item.

I looked at Rena as if I was seeing a ghost because I still couldn't believe what I was seeing. How can the person that is so dear to me come back to life it just doesn't seem real. I asked Rena asked Rena a question before I got to the real questions.

"Rena what is all this I am really confused, I don't understand what is going on this doesn't make any sense I thought you were dead".

Rena sighed and then she looked up at the clouds and said.

"I know it's confusing and to be honest while I was in the pendant I was really frustrated and lonely, especially since I could hear you crying about my death but I'll have you know that I did not die my soul was in the pendant".

When I heard Rena said that I could think back to the countless hours I would be sad and crying that I was so powerless in saving Rena. I began imagining if I had lose both my sisters or Anton. Those horrific images made me feel disturbed while I was lost in thought.

"Brandon?"

Emma called out to me looking concerned.

I snapped out of the trance I was in and Answered.

"Oh yes Emma sorry about that I was just lost in thought, this whole thing is making me feel rather confused".

Emily walked over to me and hugged me.

"There there Kiddo everything will be fine so let's just hear what Rena has to say right now".

I agreed with Emily and then I was focused on hearing what Rena had to say even though it was so confusing. Rena then began to explain the whole situation.

"Okay so here it is. The Pendant you see here around my neck here".

Rena said while holding up the necklace. Everyone looked at it as she was talking.

"This pendant is one of the legendary Items in existence right now, it's called the pendant of chances meaning you have a chance to basically come back and live, what it does is trap the person's soul who is wearing necklace at the time if you are about to die and lucky me I'm an Elf so my body regenerates quickly and it doesn't age so it works well for me but there is a catch".

Rena's mom stepped forward and said.

"The catch is that Rena's soul will not be able to come out of the pendant..."

I interrupted Rena's mom and said.

"Then how did Rena come out of the Pendant ?".

Rena's mother sighed and said.

"You are so impatient, I was just about to get to that part so please do not interrupted me again Brandon".

"I'm sorry I'll just listen".

"Good now where was I oh yes, Rena or whoever is wearing the pendant at the time needs somone to cast some hand signs before Rena could be free and this can be done just as her soul is placed in the pendant. The reason why I didn't arrive here soon is because we elfs have a way of hiding our energy so I thought that Rena was doing that but she wasn't doing that so I got concerned and I came to this side".

Emma got up and walked over to Rena and said in an angry tone.

"THEN WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU TELL US THIS FROM EARLY ON!!!".

Rena was frightened because of how loud and angry Emma was at her for not telling us that she had an item like that and I really couldn't blame her because everyone was sad. I saw tears falling from Emma's face and this was serious because Emma really rarely cries and when she does it really is serious.

Rena began crying as well while saying she was sorry about the whole thing and that she ahd forgotten to tell us about the pendant then Rena's mom said this.

"Daughter you really shouldn't have made your friends worry so much and Brandon you don't think I forgot about you, This time I want you to make a REAL promise that you will protect my daughter with your life".

I stood up and place my hand on my chest and said.

"I promise to both you and Rena that I will ensure that her life will be safe at all cost".

During the whole thing Anton didn't say much he was just ther silently listening and I was beginning wonder why was that so I think I'll talk to him about that later on but for now everyone can just go inside and relax. Everyone went inside the castle leaving Anton I alone outside so of course I was gonna talk him about what he was thinking about.

"Anton ?".

Anton had a really strange look on his face as if it was something serious so I called to him again but louder this time.

"Anton!"

Anton snapped out of it and answered me.

"I think we are in danger and I am not even joking bro this is something really serious".

I never heard Anton speak like this before and that's really saying because he is never this worried. I then asked him what was up.

"Bro what is going here ? What's the damage here?".

Anton took out his phone and showed me a picture of a small village and said.

"That village is the last of the dark wizard and witches and right now an elder witch is controling the place and bro I am telling you don't want to mess with that Elder, Her magic is very powerful and I think it was her that helped Hana kill Hana, That elder is the only one powerful enough to cast a spell like that on Hana to make it so that she can hurt us but we can't hurt her".

I was shocked at this point because everything started to add up because I know angels or fallen angels were not able to have powers like that, Hana must have had help from someone and we just founf out who it was.

"Anton we should tell the others right now".

Anton agreed and we both went into the castle and as everyone stared at us I said.

"Guys we have some bad news".

No one looked happy at all to hear that as they were about to find out why Hana was so powerful back then.
