Two years later, Amy wandered around the streets with her phone in hand. She was staring at her phone sighing sadly. It was as though her father had planned for a case when he died. He had payed for their phone bills and internet bills to last ten years. She found a stash of money in her father's room and managed to live of it. The money was slowly getting smaller and she tried to find a job. Now, she was walking down the street in hope of finding a job. She was wearing blue washed jeans and a plain shirt with a jacket drawn over her. It was January and it was a bit cold.
"I can't believe you cheated on me!"
"Fuck off Lucy! It's not a big deal!"
Amy stopped near an alleyway and saw a girl glaring at a boy who had his hand over a girl who hardly had anything covering her. The other girl whom he assumed was Lucy was crying a bit in anger.
"What did I do wrong Jace?! Am I not enough?!"
"A guy needs to get laid and you don't plan on doing it so..."
"I don't want to lose my virginity to a two headed dick!"
Jace looked angry and rose his hand to slap her but Amy stopped him. She didn't know why but she just felt the need to protect him. He glared at Amy rolling his eyes.
"What are you doing here missy?! Get out and mind your own business!"
"You aren't going to hit her. It's wrong." Amy shrugged. "Sorry, but I'm not leaving till you go."
"And how are you going to stop me you pest?"
Amy smirked letting her cocky nature take over. "Last time I checked, I'm not the one who's unwanted here and is really ugly." Jace growled and raised his fist but Amy caught it and pushed him into a wall. He screamed when his back collided with the wall.
"Babe!" The other girl ran to him and helped him up. She rolled her eyes at Amy and helped him away from there.
"You're strong." Lucy gushed. Amy turned around to beam at her. Even the loss of her parents hadn't made her a depressed child. It only made her want to search for more happiness in life. Lucy looked around fifteen. She had long brown fluffy hair and blue eyes.
"I'm Lucy!" She beamed shaking Amy.
"I'm Amy." Amy beamed. "Are you alright?"Lucy sighed. "Honestly, I'm not so shocked. He was always a jerk. I was going to invite him to come with me this night for a concert and it's front row seats."
"Cool. Whose concert?"
"One Direction."
Amy's mouth dropped open. "Really?! That's cool! I love One Direction. I've never seen them perform live."
Lucy frowned. "Oh, why is that?"
Amy frowned a bit looking down. "My parents died and I live alone. I can't afford using the little I have to buy a ticket to watch a band. I guess it's just not my priority right now."
Lucy frowned sympathetically. "Oh, I'm sorry. Well, why not come with me. You can hang out at my house and then we'll go together."
Amy smiled happily. "Really?! I'd live that!"

Amy and Lucy became great friends within the short hours they spent together. Lucy's friends were also going to the concert and they all seemed to take a quick liking to the little girl. As they drove to the concert, Amy couldn't help but feel so excited and pumped up about it. It was her first concert and she was super excited.
Within an hour, they found themselves in the front row cheering loudly for the band to come out. They had made some signs and held it up cheering. Amy was tall enough to rest her hand on the stage and she just looked around her in awe. This was going to be her best memory. Finally, Niall came out running on stage with the rest walking behind him. The cheers became deafening.
"Hi guys!" Harry yelled into his mic. "How's everyone doing?"
The shouts began again and Amy smiled feeling her heart beating fast. She was looking at One Direction live!
"Well, we'll just start off with a bit of warm ups." Louis said stretching his body. "You know, to get into the feeling.""Niall needs it cause he just ate five hamburgrs." Liam muttered making Niall glare at him.
"A guy's gotta eat!" He yelled. "You know what, I'll prove I'm fit to sing. Let's start now!"
They started singing 'Nobody Compares' and Amy watched them smiling happily. When the song ended, they got ready to start singing 'Best Song Ever'. As the music started, Amy couldn't help but feel something dark in the air. You know that feeling you get when you know something bad is about to happen. She turned around and managed to see a hooded figure slowly aiming a gun at Harry. Her eyes widened as her head whipped to the curly haired boy. Without thinking, she started climbing up on stage before the guards could get to her. She jumped in front of Harry just as the trigger went off. She closed her eyes feeling something drive into her chest.
"Amy!" Lucy screamed climbing up onstage. Everyone started screaming and trying to run out of the place. Lucy's friend, Miranda, had already called 911. The boys ran to Amy who was trying to stay awake but kept closing her eyes.
"You...you took a bullet for me." Harry muttered slowly raising her up as he knelt beside her. Amy just smiled slowly closing her eyes.
"No! Don't let her close her eyes!" Liam yelled. Lucy held Amy's hand and started telling her random things just to keep her awake. All the while, Amy kept her eyes on the boys who looked really worried. She was tired and really wanted to sleep but she couldn't. Finally, the ambulance arrived and Amy was loaded in. Lucy watched trying not to cry.
"Is she your sister?" Louis asked hugging Lucy. She shook her head. "A friend then? Can you call her parents?"
"No." Lucy cried. "She's an orphan. I brought her here cause she really loves you guys and wanted to see you. She helped me out today and it was the least I could do. Now, she's going to die because of me!"
"An orphan?!" Harry yelled in shock. "No...no...she's not going to die..."
Miranda walked up to Lucy. "I've called your mum. She said she'll meet us at the hospital. Let's go."
Lucy pulled away from Louis and let her friends lead her to the car. Zayn immediately turned to Liam. "We should go and check on her."
"Of course we're going!" Louis scoffed running past them. The rest followed behind.
