The boys got to the hospital and found the press pressed around. Harry pushed past them for once bit caring if he hurt anybody. Lucy's friend, Chelsea, was at the reception desk on her phone. She looked up when they got in and tried to wipe the tears from her eyes. It was truly amazing how attached people got to Amy within a few hours. She was truly an amazing girl.

"Is she okay?" Niall asked.

"She's in surgery now. We're trying to raise money now to pay her hospital bills since she's an orphan and all."

"I'll pay." Harry spoke up sighing. He ducked his head running his hand through his mop of curls. Louis saw how stressed out he was and pulled him into a hug. Harry broke down on his shoulder crying. "An orphan is going to die because of me."

"It's not your fault Haz." Zayn said with a small smile. "She'll be alright. Let's go buy her some things and we'll come back tomorrow, sound good?"

Harry just nodded.

Amy yawned raising her hand to rub her eyes. She gasped when she saw it attached to an IV. She started panicking increasing her heart rate on the monitor which began to beat frantically. Some nurses and a doctor rushed in to find Amy screaming in pain. The nurses held her down as a drug was injected into her IV. She immediately calmed down and laid back down whimpering.

"Where...where am I?" She croaked.

"You're in the hospital." The doctor answered kindly caressing her cheek. "You were shot but we've removed the bullet and fixed you all up. Although, I need to ask you a few questions if you're up to it."

"Okay."

"So, what's your full name?"

"Amy Sofia Smith."

"Your date of birth?"

"26th of August, 2004."

"Okay, your nationality?"

"I'm half British and African."

"Intresting. Who are your parents?"

She frowned a bit. "Robert Smith and Carolina Smith."

"Where are they?"

"They died about five years ago in a shooting."

"So, you live alone?"

"Yes. I haven't moved from our apartment. But it's in an abandoned building."

"How do you fend for yourself?"

"My dad left some money for me and I'm actually out of money now."

"When was the last time you ate?"

Amy took a while before she answered. "It was about a week ago. I haven't had any money to get more food."

"So, I'm guessing you're hungry." She nodded. "Alright, I'll tell them to send you up some breakfast."

"Won't that cost money? I can't even pay the hospital bills. I don't need nor problems."

"Your bills have been paid." The doctor chuckled. "Besides, I don't think you'll be neeidng our food. I'll send in your visitors. They've been here for a while."

Amy nodded slowly wondering who had come to visit her. She gasped when Liam walked in first holding a few things in his hands followed by the rest of the boys. She shyly pulled her sheets over her head trying to hide. She heard a deep chuckle from Zayn and her sheets were slowly pulled out of her grip. She looked up at the familiar pair of golden brown eyes and blushed a bit.

"Amy, hi."

"H...Hi." She stammered. "Um...I...um..."

"Are you feeling okay?" Niall asked.

She sighed looking down at the bandages for the first time. "It hurts when I try to sit up alone."

"Here, I'll help you love." Louis put his arms around her and helped her sit up while Liam adjusted her pillow for her.

"Is this like a charity visit to the hospital?" Amy asked staring at all the things in their hands. Niall laughed throwing his head back.

"No silly, we came to see only you...and to thank you." He placed the sweets, candy, teddy bears and other things on the bed. Zayn was already tying balloons near her bed. She blushed a bit.

"R...really?"

Harry hadn't said a word since he stepped in. He had been admiring the girl that sat on the bed smiling. She was so cute, beautiful and jusg gave out that happy vibe. It reminded Harry of himself, when he was little and innocent. Amy met his gaze and blushed fumbling with her hands.

"H...Hi Harry." She murmured. "I'm sorry about the shooting. I swear I had no idea who it was. I just saw someone with a gun and I just did what I had to do."

Harry walked over to her side and hugged her carefully. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm just...still shocked. You were willing to die for me."

Amy beamed. "I'd die for anyone as...oh, is that Tweezers?"

The boys couldn't help but laugh when she grabbed the candy and started eating it up.

"Reminds me of Niall." Zayn chuckled. Amy smiled at him showing him her teeth which was stained with a lot of candy. "So, we heard you were an orphan? For how long if you don't mind us asking."

"Four years." She murmured making them choke on their breath.

"So, you've been fending for yourself for four years?!" Liam almost yelled. "How didn't people know?!"

Amy shrunk a little. "I don't want to go into any orphanage. I hate those places. My dad and mum's family members don't really like us so I was alone."

"Oh my god." Louis gasped. "That's...wow. But you need someone to take care of you when you get out."

Amy shrugged. "I'll take care of myself."

"They won't let you do that." Liam said frowing.

"I can do it." Harry shrugged. "I do kind of owe her."

"No." Amy shook her head. "I'm fine. I can just..."

"You don't really have a choice." Zayn piped in. "Just do it."

Amy sighed and nodded shyly. "Okay, fine."
