Chapter Nine

"Niall! Stop fooling around!" Paul scolded Niall for the tenth time during practise. Niall raised his hand up from his guitar defensively.

"I'm just making sure it's properly tuned!"

"By playing the chords of wonderwall?" Louis scoffed. "Right, and I'm a fool."

"That you are." Amy murmured dodging his smack as she walked past them holding a water bottle in her hands. She sipped the contents in it before throwing it towards Louis making it spray all over him and Liam.

"I don't remember me being in this argument." He groaned getting up. "Seriously Ames? Don't tell me Louis' sassiness has gotten to you."

Amy shrugged turning back to her own band. Harry watched her in amusement chuckling. She and Louis and grown closer each day. Zayn was had paint buddy, Niall was her friend for food and Liam was her teddy bear. So far, she hadn't had any seizures or allergic reaction. Although, she did throw a tantrum one night when Harry didn't put nutmeg in his cookies. How she noticed it so fast still amazed him. She was still acting very lively as always. She had written the first song for the band and they were going to be the opening act for their concert. Harry was excited to hear the song and so were the fans cause the arena was getting packed. They returned backstage to dress in their real attires. Lou started doing the boys hair while a new hair artist, Sarah, did the girls hair. After that, they all gathered backstage. The girls were a nervous wreck.

"This is so not exciting anymore." Tia sighed fumbling with her bangles. "You guys should just probably go on and we'll postpone."

"No, you're going out there and you're going to perform." Liam said sternly.

"But..." Maggie started but Louis held up his hands.

"No buts unless you want me to spank your butts." Zayn smacked Louis' head. "Hey! Anyways, you guys are going to go out there and show off as you girls like to do. Have fun and pretend like no ones watching. Be crazy."

"Not Louis crazy though." Harry added. "Don't go Louis."

"What's wrong with going Louis?" Louis whined.

"It's childish yet not childish. It's just Louis."

"Wow, thanks Harry." Louis sarcastically murmured. "Have fun girls."

With gentle shoves, they walked out on stage to face the deafening crowd. Amy held her mic tightly placing her hands over her ears. Some fans noticed and started getting everyone to reduce their screams. Amy shot them a thankful look. Her health conditions had been all over the net and the fans were very sympathetic about it.

"Thanks." Amy spoke. "So, this is out first concert and I won't lie, I'm so scared."

A few cheers erupted from the audience. Lucy smiled a bit and held up her mic. "We're all nervous and I'm more afraid of what you guys so say about the song. Amy wrote it and we all love it so we thought it'd be a nice way to start off."

"It's called 'Like You'." Tia spoke up.

"And here we go!" Maggie yelled as a soft tune started playing. The crowd became hushed with their phones all out. Lucy closed her eyes as she started singing.

Maggie: It was hard,

Amy giggled as she lowered her mic hearing the fans going wild. The other girls too were laughing and blushing bending down to shake a few fans. Amy moved forward and did the same thing. She spotted someone familiar looking at her but she shrugged it off and moved back.

"Anyways, before our favorite boy band come up, we'll answer three Twitter questions." Lucy announced moving towards the board with the other girls.

@Niall'sbabe: How did you guys meet?

"That's actually funny." Lucy chuckled. "Tia and Maggie are my best friends and we met at summer camp when we were ten. I met Amy in an alleyway after she beat the shit out of my ex. He was about to hit me and she stepped in."

@TinaRussell: If you weren't a band, what would each of you be doing?

"I'd probably go into acting." Maggie shrugged.

"I'd go to dance college." Tia beamed.

"I'd become a model." Lucy smirked.

Amy looked down thinking for a while. "I'd want to be a writer or an artist."

@HuangBane: Can Amy sing the first verses and chorus from Wonderwall?

Amy shrugged. "Sure."

The other girls ran backstage while a stool and guitar was brought out for her. She held the guitar and started strumming as she started singing the song that she had loved so much.

Harry watched the whole thing from backstage with a fond smile on his face. He watched the audience sway back and forth in rhythm with the whole thing. He saw the smile etched on her face and he felt his heart melt when she blew a fan a kiss. Then she got up and actually kissed the person's cheek making the crowd squeal.

"She's one in a million." Louis chuckled from beside him reading his thoughts and Harry just nodded in agreement.
