RHEA

I turned pink at Jungkook's words before looking over at a rapidly advancing figure.

Gaia?

She looked like a quiet storm. That was when I knew I screwed up.

"Mina! Mom's wondering where you were! Sorry, but she has to go home now!" Gaia said with a sweet smile in Jungkook's direction. Quickly, she grabbed my wrist and pulled me in the direction of our house.

The entire way there we were silent.

As soon as we reached the house. She pushed me down onto the couch and sat down across from me on our coffee table.

"Explain yourself." She said firmly.

"I've been seeing Jungkook recently and-"

"Now, he's your boyfriend?" Gaia questioned.

"I didn't finish. And I've decided-"

"-to let him take your virginity, too." She said, harshly.

"Gaia? What's wrong with you?"

She took a deep breath.

"Sorry. I got too worked up. Continue."

"Okay, then. I was trying to say that I've been seeing Jungkook recently and I decided to take a break from our little group."

"Because of Jungkook?"

I bit my lip at her raised eyebrow. It really wasn't because of Jungkook. It was because I didn't want to be a criminal anymore.

"No."

"Just for right now, I'll forget about the Jungkook thing. But, you want to take a break? You can't. Mom and I have created the plan for another heist. A bank robbery! You wouldn't want to miss out on that, would you?" She tried to reason with me.

"I can't do it anymore. Too much stress." I shook my head.

"But, Rhea you can't just give up on us. We're your family." I felt her emphasis on 'family' dent the brick wall.

"I'm sorry to let you down, but-"

"It's for Jungkook, isn't it? I trust you, but I think that he's messing with you. You're usually so goal-oriented."

"I mean, Jungkook has something to do with it, I guess, but I'm not trying to choose him over my family."

"It really sounds like you are." Gaia said, sadly. "Well, be honest. Are you two dating?"

I bit my lip. Truly, we weren't.

"We're not."

She nodded, satisfied.

"You know, I told you to stay away from him for your own good. I wanted to keep you safe. But, there really must be something addictive about this guy if you would risk everything you've done for him." Her tone was getting angrier now.

"I'm not addicted to him, Gaia."

She closed her eyes and let out a breath that she had been holding in.

"Sure. But, how much does he know about you?"

I shrugged.

"Oh, come on." She rolled her eyes. "How far have you gone with this boy?"

"Why do you want to know that, Gaia?"

"I'm your older sister. Answer me."

"Fine. Well, we've only ever made out." I blushed at my own confession.

"How many ti-"

"Gaia!"

She rolled her eyes and motioned for me to 'spill it.'

"I can't really remember. But the first time was at the par-" I stopped myself.

"Go on." She said, trying to coax it out of me.

"Erm...the first time we made out was at the party."

"Why?"

"Well, he was going to rat me out and I just, kind of, made a deal with him." I admitted.

Gaia's mouth fell open.

"You did not."

I hung my head shamefully.

Her tone of voice was no longer aggressive; it was full of care and concern.

"Not only did you go against my rules, you went against Mom's. And both of us were trying to keep you safe."

"Like I said before, I really need to rethink things and take a break. I'm don't think that I'm ready to join in again with our little group."

Now, I had made Gaia angry.

"What do you mean 'our little group'? I hope that you're not talking about your family."

I gulped.

"Well-"

"Well, 'our little group' just so happened to put you through college, let you live comfortably, and made you the person that you are today." She was glaring at me now.

"I know, but what if I don't want to be that person anymore?"

Gaia stood up.

"You've officially done it. Please leave."

Now, it was my turn to gasp.

"What?"

"I'm not saying you should move away, but you need to leave until you can figure who you want to stay loyal to."

I sat there, mouth wide open in shock.

"I'm serious, Rhea. You risked everything for love; who the hell do you think you are?"
