No one POV
Without Lance around, the castle became quiet. People used to come visit him, but Lotor had tried to take control of him, and he nearly killed Pidge. Ever since, Lance refused to see visitors, and you could tell it was tearing him apart.
"Lance please-" Keith pleaded.
"No."
"You have to let us in!"
"No! Dont you understand!? I could kill you! O-or hurt you! I... i cant afford to lose you Keith, youre the only thing keeping me from insanity in here." Keith held back a sob. But wasnt going to give up.
"Guys, i have a plan."
"W-what! What is it!" Hunk said, excitedly.
"You know how Lotor sucked the quintessence from the Alteans?"
"Yes?" Allura nodded.
"Well, why dont we do that to Lotor! Thats the only thing giving him control over Lance."
"Didnt they inject him with something?" Pidge asked.
"Yeah, but i was talking to Lance a few months ago. He said that they Lotor started connecting both of their quintessence, giving him even more power over Lance. If we can suck out Lotors quintessence, he'll lose control over him!" Keith explained, trying but failing to contain his excitement.
"Hmmm, that could work." Coran said, stroking his mustache thoughtfully.
"Guys, what if this doesnt work." Shiro butted in, barging into the room. "We could be risking everyones lives for the price of ones! Cant we just find a new paladin-"
"Stop!" Cried Allura, stamping her foot. "Just stop! We are getting my brother back if its the last thing i do! So, what is that earth term you told me, Pidge? Ah, yes. You better shut up the fuck right now!" If they had been in an easier situation, they wouldve been laughing their heads off, but all they could do now was stifle their giggles and agree with her.
"Yeah." Everyone nodded.
"Fine." Shiro huffed. "But if we die out there, im putting "it was Alluras fault" on my tombstone." And with that, he left the room.
"Ok, lets do this."
Notice:
Dont worry guys. I hate the idea of my lil old gay space dad being mean to Lance, Shiro will get nicer.
P.S The reason ive been updating more frequently is because ive been on holiday. Now im back home, I'll be reverting back to my regular schedule of updates on weekends.
