(Okay, before I begin I have to say I haven't watched every episode of this show so it may be a little terrible but I have read fanfiction on it as well so I know who the characters are and kinda what I'm doing.)

(Dipper's POV)

"Let's face it," I said to Mabel watching Wendy talk to Robbie. "I'll never get Wendy." Ever since the caravel Robbie and Wendy have been dating and I wasn't taking it too well.

"Maybe Wendy isn't the one you're meant to be with Dipper," Mabel said 'trying' to cheer me up. "Besides, as long as she's happy, shouldn't you be happy?"

"Yeah, I guess," I sighed. "I just want..."

"I know how you feel Dipper," Mabel said putting a hand on my back. "But hey, it could happen any day now!"

"It's not like the next girl that walks in the store is gonna-" I was cut off when a (H/C) girl walked into the gift shop wearing a (R/C Random Colour) outfit. She walked over to the counter and rang the bell for service.

"Well how about that," Mabel pointed out beside me.

"Pure coincident," I stated. "It just so happens that she walked in when we were talking about this."

"Oh come on Dipper!" Mabel hung her arms down. "When are you going to learn to take the opportunity? Just go talk to her!" Mabel began pushing me towards her.

"Mabel, I can't just go up and talk to her!" I stated, trying to against her force. "There are steps to do-" I was cut off when I bumped into a person, or rather the girl. "I'm sorry, my sister, Mabel-" I turned around to see Mabel was somehow nowhere in sight. 'Thanks a lot, Mabel! Great time to leave me!' note the sarcasm. I sighed then turned to face the girl. "My name's Dipper."

"Name's (Y/N)," the girl said then took out her hand for me to shake. Being the person I am, I shook it. "I was just seeing if I could work here. Luckily they had plenty of open spots and I got hired on the spot. I'm surprised I didn't need to go through any of the normal routines do."

"Well, I guess I'll be seeing you more often," I stated, smiling.

"I gotta go now," (Y/N) said. "But hopefully I'll see you tomorrow?" I nodded my heading, stating she'd see me. "Okay, bye!" She said as she walks out of the gift shop.

"Bye!" I called after her. Then Mabel came from wherever she was.

"So? How'd it go?" Mabel asked eagerly.

"It was just normal," I simply replied.

"Aw, come on!" Mabel was now disappointed. "Did you at least get her name?"

"(Y/N)" I answered. "She's gonna be working here so I'll see her more often."

"It's only gonna be a matter of time before you'll be eating sundaes together," Mabel clapped her hands and went to sit and watch TV.

'Yeah... only a matter of time.'
