the next day was torture. yoongi couldn't stop thinking of jimin and if he liked him or not.

"hyung, this is the second lunch period in a row you've done nothing but stare at jimin, i'm supposed to be you're best friend, talk to me!" hoseok groaned, banging his head on the table.

"i'd tell you to get some new friends if you cared so much but you're forever labelled the weird kids friend so i don't think that's possible," he muttered. yoongi may of had a point, they both had ears, they could hear kids whispering too their friends about them when they walked around the school- even in classes sometimes. it was usually along the lines of

"you know that pale kid? he's so fucking weird, he literally never talks... and have you seen his wrists? they're completely covered in scars, hes actually crazy,"

which is usually followed by there friend saying

"you know who's really crazy? the one that follows him around all the time. how desperate must he be to hang out with someone like that!"

"its a good thing i don't want any other friends then."

"do you wanna stay at mine tonight?" hoseok asks as they walk out of the school gates. they'd had a long day at school, the only thing happening between jimin and yoongi was a small smile exchanged in the corridors. it was progress at least.

"mum won't let me," he shrugged "you can stay at mine if you want, i understand if you don't want too."

yoongis home wasn't exactly fun. there was one tv in the living room and one in yoongis (neither with cable) but that was it, the only other forms of entertainment were books and board games. the addition of yoongis television was a recent one gifted to him by hoseoks parents. after his last (and one of his worst) breakdowns a few months ago yoongi wouldn't leave his room unless he was physically forced too.

the jung family, being the kindhearted people they are thought yoongi having nothing to do all day but read books was crazy! deciding to give him what used to be hoseoks brothers tv before he left to go to college.

"but it happened ages ago," he groaned, rubbing the temples of his forehead.

"you can say it hoseok, i'm not gonna start crying because you mention something that happened almost a year ago." yoongi stopped walking, he didn't know why but he was mad. he'd had enough of people walking on eggshells around him.

"i tried to kill myself, hoseok. say it."

yoongi wasn't exactly shouting, more like speaking at the volume a normal person would talk at. but yoongi wasn't normal, when he spoke it was quiet mumbles.

"maybe you're fine talking about but i'm not, i was so scared. you're my best friend and i don't want to lose you." hoseok stood a few steps in front of yoongi, refusing to turn around and face him.

"s-seokie... i'm sorr-"

"don't apologise... l-let's just go to yours, i'll ask my mum to drop my stuff."

and with that they returned back to 'normal'. yoongi walking a step behind hoseok as he rambled about something yoongi didn't bother paying attention too.
