yoongi sunk down into his chair, taking sips of a coffee that was mediocre at its very best.
jimins face had lit up as soon as he laughed- he'd barely expected a smile, let alone... that. It was a huge breakthrough- for both their relationship and yoongis mental health.
—
Hoseok herd a familiar laugh coming from the table he'd left yoongi at. his head snapped back, mouth becoming agape as he saw yoongi practically dying of laughter. 'well that was unexpected' he thought to himself, coming back to the table with the tray of drinks.
many people reading this book- or if you want to keep up the illusion of a forth wall, many people at their school- have a sneaking suspicion hoseok likes yoongi (or vice versa.) At one point yoongi may of had a tiny crush on hoseok but that was in the past. they were completely platonic.
—
"why don't we go to an aquarium?" hoseok suggested. the three- well two, yoongi hadn't stated an opinion- had been debating on what to do after they finished their drinks. Hoseok has to try and find something yoongi could do- heights were a no for all three so they couldn't go to an amusement park, yoongi didn't have the money to go shopping... and even if he didn't buy anything there were far to many people. an aquarium seemed perfect, they were cheap, on the ground and only usually busy on school days.
yoongi shrugged and jimin nodded. so with that they finished up there drinks and set off. with only one slight problem. travel. yoong barely managed to survive the last bus ride into town, how on earth was he supposed to do it again.
they reached the bus stop faster than yoongi would of liked- and even with his eyes glued to the ground and lips pinned shut, he couldn't help but be nervous. "it's okay, it's only a bus. and i'm here anyway so there's nothing to worry about," hoseok whispered lowly into yoongis ear, only wanting him to hear and nobody else. jimin looked on with worry; he couldn't bare to see yoongi so frightened. and just like that yoongis saving grace appeared.
"i'll get us an uber... it'll be quicker and i'm getting impatient already." Jimin pulled out his phone, slightly grimacing as he saw the price but put it to the back of his mind. this was for yoongi.
unfortunately, yoongi hadn't even heard the words come from jimins mouth, he was far to focused on (what he thought was) his inevitable doom. having a panic attack was certainly not something someone wants to do in front on their crush. no matter how many fan fictions make it out that way.
"yoongs- jimin got us an uber, we're gonna get in now okay?" a few minutes had passed and hoseok was guiding yoongi into the vehicle, sitting him in the corner and himself right in the middle. yoongi looking up at jimin in surprise, giving him a shaky smile for a thankyou.
maybe nothing would go wrong today, at all?
but yoongi was a lot more complicated than that.
