Niall's p.o.v (I hope you like the new cover it was made by Valerie Sanborn)
"Niall my dad will like you. Emily's dad is just over protective"! Valerie says. We are driving to her house.
"I know but what if he is annoyed by my voice or thinks my hair is weird"! He says.
"You really think a grown man would care about your hair"? Valerie says. I shrug. She rolls her eyes and she brings me into the house.
"Is this the Niall I have heard about". I hear her father say. He walks in.
"Yes dad this is him". Val says.
"Hello I'm Niall Horan"! I say with a smile on my face and I shake his hand.
"Nice to meet you I'm Mark Sanborn". He says.
"Well I want to thank you for bringing my daughters home, I bet my wife told you that though". Her dad says.
"It was my greatest pleasure". I say. He smiles at me. Valerie gives me a "I told you so" look.
"Not to be blunt but you aren't from America right, Ireland correct"? He asks.
"Yes I'm from Mulingar, Ireland". I say.
"What brought you up to Maine". He asks.
"Well I was on tour near here and I figured I had to see Valerie". I say. He smiles in approval.
"Well Niall I want to get to know you more because I have to go to work now. Would you like to join us for dinner tonight"? He asks.
"Of course sir"! I say. Val smiles really big.
"What do you like for food Niall so I can get reservations"? He asks me.
"I like anything edible"! I say. Valerie giggles and her dad nods.
"Well I will see you later Niall"! He says. He kisses Val's forehead and walks out the door.
"NAILED IT"! I say. She high fives me and I bring her into a hug. But I know the task isn't over yet I still have dinner.
***time passes***
"Alright Niall the key for dinners is to be so extremely polite that they explode". Louis says.
"Well I don't want them to explode"! I say.
"They won't really explode". He says.
"Her family already likes you. Make them love you"! Harry says.
"Okay that's creepy". I say.
"Just be your self". Liam says.
"Try not to kiss in front of the father". Zayn says.
"So far Liam is giving the best advice". I say.
"Haha yes"! Liam says.
"I'm just speaking the truth"! Harry says. "If you don't appreciate my excellent advice then I shall not acknowledge you". Harry walks to the drivers room and closes the door.
"Freak". I say.
"You'll be fine Niall"! Louis says.
"Okay it's time for me to go"! I say.
"Good luck lad"! Liam says. I wave and run out to my car. I drive to the address they gave me. I pull in to the place and go in. I see them and I walk over to the table.
"Niall! So good to see you again"! Her dad says. I smile and wave to them and shake her parents hands. I then sit down next to Val.
"Hiiiiii Nialllll". Emilie says in a dreamy voice. I wave awkwardly and I hear Val laugh.
"What's it like to be in one direction"! Julie says our of the blue.
"I bet it's awesome"! Emilie says.
"Guys shut up I bet he gets that a lot"! Val says. I take Val's hand.
"No it's fine. I love being in one direction. We always have and good laugh and it's like they are my family". I say.
"That's so deep"! Emilie says.
"I'm putting that in my fan-fic too"! Julie mumbles.
"So Niall where are you staying". Her dad asks.
"I'm staying on my tour bus in a field". I say. Her parents nod slowly. I hold Val's hand little tighter.
"Yeah their tour bus is pretty cool"! Val says changing the subject. I thank god for her.
"Oh that's interesting"! Her dad says. For the rest of dinner we talk and eat (of course).
"Well thank you so much for that wonderful dinner. I am paying next time though"! I say.
"It was wonderful to have you Niall"! Her mom says.
"Mom can Niall drive me home"? Valerie says.
"Of course we will see you soon Niall". Her mom says and they leave. We walk to my car.
"We aren't leaving just yet". I say. I grab her face and start kissing her in the car. I do a small victory dance but I stop so she won't see.
