(Ryan's POV)

"A fur coat, really Ryan?" My mother looks at me up and down before sitting down. Michael pulls out my seat as I take my coat off.

"That's what I said, then she has the nerve to wear ripped jeans with it." Michael chuckles.

"I didn't know you'd be coming Michael, my apologies for not greeting you at the door last night." My Dad shakes Michael's hand.

"We got in a little later than normal."

"Well who are these work friends you want us to meet Dad?"

"One of my old mentors from when I first started contracting. He's the one that showed me the ropes and he's in town with his sons, you know one of them, Chadwick."

"Chadwick? As in  The Chadwick Boseman?" Jasmine smiles brightly.

"Yeah that's the one, he's actually a really good actor I'm glad you've already met." My dad taps his fingers against the table in excitement. I look over at Michael who looks confused.

"Actually Chadwick and Mich-" I was cut off by my dad standing up.

"Leroy." I turn around to see my dad giving a older man a hug, Chadwick and a younger guy behind him. "Where's your wife?"

"She's back at the hotel, you know she doesn't like the cold."

"Alright, well you know Dawn," My mother smiles over at him. "These are my two daughters Ryan and Jasmine. This is Ryan's friend, Michael."

"Friend?" Chad smiles at us.

"Yes boyfriend, what's up Chad." Michael does their little handshake.

"Michael." Leroy shakes Michael's hand and my parents are now the ones who look confused.

"Michael and Chad go way back with their friend Sterling. Dawn you haven't aged a bit, this is my youngest son, Aaron." The younger boy looked so disinterested in being there that he gave a limp wave and sat down at the table. "He isn't much of a talker." Everyone sits back down.

"I didn't know Ryan wasn't single, Carolyn want them to talk." He points between Chadwick and I.

"I told you she wasn't single dad." Chad looks over at his father.

"But, you could swoon her from anyone except Mr. model here." Leroy laughs winking at me.

"Well Ryan is still young, she could try her options." My dad points out making me roll my eyes.

"I don't need options."

"Sweetie, Michael is still a young man with urges. Who says he won't want something different in a few months?" My Mom comments making me pull my head back in shock.
