20: Love and Hate

Lady Misfortune was angry, "How did I lose to a stupid cat?!" Hawmoth was done with the villain's tantrum. "Lady Misfortune quit it! Our time will come!" Lady Misfortune was angry but calmed down anyway. "Fine but I am so mad!" A voice in Misfortune's head was telling her this wasn't right. She shouldn't be fighting her beloved partner. At first she had no clue who was talking until she remembered who she used to be. 'Sorry Marinette. You had your chance! Now it's time I had a chance!' Misfortune jumped to the ground and ran off to go steal some food. Since she was akumatized it didn't take much effort to get something to eat. Once she finished re-charging she ran off in search of her ex partner.

Meanwhile Cat noir was evacuating people into safe homes when he sensed his partner. "Hello kitty cat." The boy whirled around and there stood his love with pure hatred in her eyes. He knew he had to get away before she found the citizens so he decided it was time for a game of tag. "You can't catch me!"
Misfortune gritted her teeth and ran after the cat who taunted her while running. "Get back here you dumb cat! Quit playing games and face me like a man!" Cat Noir just turned around and stuck his tongue out. "Nah not my style!" The two ran around before the boy lost the villain in the park. "Whew I lost her! Now I better go see Master Fu."
He ran and ran following the directions Plagg had given him that morning. Finally he arrived at a healing building. "How come I never noticed this place?" He ran over to an alleyway and de-transformed. "Ok kid, now we need to be careful. Pretend you've got an appointment and then tell the little man who you are." Adrien nodded before going over to the building and going in. The walls were light orange and outlines of leaves in red were detailing them.
"Hello there can I help you?" Adrien nodded before proceeding to say he had an appointment. He thought he was busted when the woman stayed silent but a moment later she smiled and directed him to the back. "Master Fu is ready." Adrien thanked the lady and went to the back. "Hello Cat Noir." Adrien was shocked to see the little man. He looked so familiar.

Flashback

"Adrien come back here!"
Adrien tried to run inside the school but was stopped by his secretary.
Then he noticed an elderly man trying to pick up his cane.
People were passing by but no one was helping him
Ignoring Natalie he went over and helped the man up
"Thank you" he said
"Adrien." The boy hung his head and walked over to his secretary and bodyguard.

Flashback ends

'That man was him!'
"Ahh you are remembering."
Master Fu motioned for Adrien to come closer. "Master how do i-"
"How do you help Ladybug?" The blonde nodded, "you need to wake her. She is trapped in the darkness. She wants to escape but her memories blind her to stay in the dark."
Adrien felt terrible, he was the reason why she was like this. 'Why do I have such bad luck?'
