I am told we are made of stardust
That the moon is what shines behind our eyes
I've heard that each of us are the centre of the universe
That in the end, no one ever dies

I've heard of men who wear fishbowls on their heads
Who spend lifetimes looking up into the starry sky
The stardust in their veins guide them
Until one day they're able to fly

I'm told stories of moon children who dance in the dark
And dream of joining them in their celestial wonderland
An eternity of happiness in the place I was always meant to be
Watching the universe as we dance hand on hand
