Liam Jr.'s POV

I am in my room right now trying to figure out what to do. Yes as the good son I am I have decided that the sole purpose of my life will be to get my dad back together with Liam and reunite him with Niall. But there’s this one thing that’s been bothering me, I think I feel something for Niall I know I shouldn’t because technically he’s my brother and well brothers don’t go out with each other. I think- my thoughts are interrupted by my phone that buzzes indicating that I received a text.

Hiiii want to hang out at my place???

I gulp, If I want to unite them to my Dad then I’ll have to keep my distance from Niall, so that I don’t give him the wrong idea because I have figured out that Niall likes me, a little more than a friend.

To: Ni ;)

Sorry bud, I have to be somewhere :(

I instantly got a reply.

From: Ni ;)

Oh….. Where do you have to go? 

I wait for a moment to think of a lie, then I find the perfect one that will probably crush our friendship, but I have to do it for Dad.

To: Ni ;)

I have date with Josh. :)

And just as I expected I got no reply. I didn’t know that I would feel as guilty as this ever in my life.

Niall’s POV

He’s ditching me for Josh? I knew I shouldn’t have trusted him. I just knew it! He’s just a jerk. He’s a stupid-

“Niall? Can I come in?” My Dad asks from the other side of the door.

“Yes Dad.” I reply and the door opens Dad walks in with a smile that disappears when he sees my face.

“Ni what’s wrong?” He says with a frown.

“Nothing.” I say burying my head in the pillow in my hands.

“Well something is wrong! Tell me.” He demands and I sigh finally looking at him.

“I just I-” I start but I couldn’t find the proper words.

“Come on, you can tell me anything.” Dad said with a sympathetic smile on his face.

“Well there’s this guy, and I really like him, but he well he doesn’t.” I say shy.

“Hmm I think Liam-” when he says Liam my head shots up.

“How’d you know I was talking about Liam?’’ I ask shocked.

“Niall, I saw the way you looked at him when he was here.” By now I was blushing. 

“Well it doesn’t matter, because he has no feelings for me.” I blurted out and my tears threated to fall from my eyes.
