"Morning sleepyhead," Alex said pulling a mug out of my cupboard as I walked into the kitchen a little surprised to see him standing there.

"Morning," I said still in a groggy headspace, "did you sleepover last night?" I asked and he gave me a look as if I was the crazy one.

"Yeah, I guess... if that's what you want to call living together." He replied sarcastically as he pour my old fashioned coffee maker.

"Wait, living together?" I asked him as he poured a black cup of coffee for me and turned towards the fridge, "but what about Emily?"

"Emily?" He said with a laugh, "you mean that girl I went on a couple of dates before we met?" He turned to stare at the dark substance turn a creamy caramel color. I took in a breath staring at him my nervous nature avoiding his face at all costs and staring at the cup in his hands as he walked over to the island, "Babe, come on, what are your hormones all ready looking for a fight?" He laughed, genuinely, as if this was a joke to him. He set the coffee down and spoke in a more serious tone, "I'm not falling for this again, Tessie. Also one cup, no more of this funny business getting me mad and not realizing you are sneaking coffee."

"Excuse me?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him. I had no idea what he was talking about, but the sentence made my blood boil. This only made him smirk more at me. Alex just walked over and placed his hand on my non existing... I looked down and suddenly I had a large front bump... much larger than it was yesterday, "whoa," I hummed under my breath as Smith wrapped his hands around the bump and smiled.

"I know," He nodded in agreement, "It's almost as crazy as the first."

"Wait, Smith, the first?" I asked my head cocked to the right. He returned my look.

"Smith?" He said as if that calling him that was foreign, "Why did you just call me Smith?"

"Because that's what I call you?" I said in a confused tone.

"Daddy!" A voice exclaimed in the middle of our staring contest, "Come here, look at what I did." Smith's face turned back into a smirk at the sound of the voice.

"Duty calls," He hummed before leaning in for a kiss and I moved so he caught my cheek. Alex pulled away and gave me another confused look. My eyes widened confused about what has happened to us.

"Wait, did someone just call you daddy? Smith? I'm pregnant now. We don't have a kid yet..." I trailed as I followed him into the living area. I was slower and I was heavier too. Is this how I was going to feel during the later terms of my pregnancy?

Smith turned back and gave me this bewildered look, "Sorry?" He asked as the child a curly-haired boy came up and grabbed his hand.

"Da," He said pulling his arm with all his strength and Alex stayed centered. He was about three and the smaller version of the man standing in front of me.

"What year is it?" I asked looking at the boy because this was clearly not 2017.

"2020," Smith said before going to meet the toddler, I don't remember having three years ago. I walked into the living room to see photos upon photos of the baby boy and family photo milestones I don't remember. I've missed years and I don't understand why? Where have I been? I looked down at my hand noticing the large very unlike me taste in engagement ring and with it was a silver band accompanying it. This sent me, suddenly my thoughts started to spin. I had to sit down. I stumbled over to the sofa that wasn't mine, come to think of it this wasn't even my apartment.
