   "SnowKit would u like to here a story?" Dottie asked. "About what momma?" SnowKit asked questionably. " On how your father HellStar passed." "Ok momma !" Dottie curled her tail protectively around SnowKit "Ok so ...."

(Flash back )

"BloodPelt, are u sure we're going the right way?" HellStar asked. " Of course I do HellStar. Do you doubt me, your best friend and deputy." " Now I didn't say that BloodPelt, of course I trust you." HellStar flicked his red tail at BloodPelt. " Now go on ahead Dottie and I will catch up with you." " Yes HellStar." HellStar turned to face Dottie. " Dottie are u alright? Are u tired we can rest? Plus u should have stayed in the nursery especially since the kits will be here any day. I.." HellStar honey I'm fine. No need to worry, but I'm concerned about BloodPelt he seems distracted by something." " Dottie he's fine just turned around." Dottie looked straight into his light blue gray eyes and found nothing but love looking at her. But she still felt tense as if she were being watched. "No HellStar I feel like we're being watched. What if this is a trap?" HellStar looked shocked and hurt by this accusation. " Dottie are u questioning BloodPelt's honor as my deputy?" " No of course not. But still I'm scared and I don't know why." " Dottie calm down if your fine let's catch up with BloodPelt." HellStar turned in the direction the BloodPelt took of in and Dottie followed. Soon they were surrounded by trees in a small clearing. BloodPelt turned around to face them. His claws were unsheathed and he began to hiss at the two cats. " BloodPelt what's this?" HellStar spat. " your death HellStar. I'm gonna kill u as many times as I can, till u join StarClan." BloodPelt sprang at HellStar bitting into his shoulder and couldn't knock him off. "Ahh" Dottie sprang at BloodPelt to get him off HellStar, but BloodPelt has swung at her knocking her into the tree close by. Dottie begun to lose her sight at the pain in her head. " HellStar! BloodPelt please sto..p." Dottie had passed out. Dottie woke up. Blood now covered the green grass covered the grass and she saw HellStar being pinned down by BloodPelt wounds scattering both of their pelts. " One more life. Eh HellStar." " get off of me you piece of Fox dung. The clan will banish you because of this. What about my sister? Your mate, she loves you BloodPelt, she'll never forgive you." BloodPelt dug his claws into HellStar's throat tearing the red fur away. "Shut up HellStar, she'll never know I did this." " What about our clan mates?" " Our clan mates never cared for me. Not the son of the medicine cat. TanFur is the only cat who understands me. She never lied to me once. She told me the truth about who she is. My mother will never leave me like the others." BloodPelt spat. " HellStar! BloodPelt please!" BloodPelt looked up at Dottie's plea. " Dottie run and don't look back! Go to SnowClan. Remember our deal with GraniteStar! Go!" HellStar screamed at Dottie. Dottie got up and ran. She sensed she was close with SnowClans border. Suddenly she heard a scream ripple through the woods. She knew HellStar had lost his last life.

( present day)
"Momma, why did BloodStar kill him?" SnowKit asked. " I don't know sweetie, I believe it was power. He wanted to be leader and prove himself worthy of something. I miss your father greatly he was a great cat. He would be so proud of you and your siblings." " Momma daddy is still here! He's over there with BlueLeaf, ShadowKit, RedKit, and AshKit. He doesn't look like us though he has sparkles coming off his pelt." Dottie looked at SnowKit in alarm. "BlueLeaf! Can I speak to you outside real quick?" "Oh of course Dottie." Dottie quickly left the den with BlueLeaf. SnowKit wondered over to her siblings. "Hey SnowKit wanna play prey vs warriors with us?" RedKit asked. " Ok!"
