SnowFire's Prophecy

Chapter 6

SnowPaw woke up, this time she was in her moss in the apprentice den. Everyone ,but ArrowPaw was up, so SnowPaw decided to wake him. She padded up to him and bent down. " ArrowPaw wake up." All she heard was a little "mmmmph". " Don't make me lick you. Trust me I will. Imma count to three." "One" ArrowPaw didn't move. "Two." Again no movement. " Three. I warned you." SnowPaw started to lick ArrowPaws face. " AHhh SnowPaw, augh I was sleeping!" Snickering roared through the den. The first cat to speak was ShadowPaw. " To be fair, she did warn you. Plus it's about time you woke up, I was out getting something to eat before Snowy woke up. I heard DarkFur say he wanted to see how you and SnowPaw would fair in a fight. He might pin y'all together. I vote SnowPaw will win, what do u think GorsePaw?" " Definitely SnowPaw, she's way quicker than any of us. Plus she's real small, she can crawl through any cats paws." GorsePaw let out a small laugh. ArrowPaw stood up. "Hmmp, well I'll show you guys. I trained with RabbitHeart, back in RainClan. She's one of their strongest warriors and the deputy." ArrowPaw stuck his tongue out at his den mates. " Yeah, yeah go, get out of here I'm sure DarkFur is waiting for you." " Thanks sis, love you Shadow.Come on ArrowPaw, lets go." SnowPaw pranced out of the den, dragging ArrowPaw by his tail.

"Alright, kids today were gonna be seeing how you two fair in a fight with one another. Remember claws sheathed, this isn't a battle to defend our territory. So no need to hurt one another. SnowPaw over there please, ArrowPaw you over there. Wait for me to count to three." SnowPaw bounded to the other side of the clearing. ArrowPaw went to the other. "One, two, three. Go!" SnowPaw bounded her way towards ArrowPaw, swatting at him and unbalancing him. ArrowPaw rolled unto his side, trying to avoid SnowPaw's paws. SnowPaw jumped on top of him, blocking him from moving, three of her paws on his legs and one was batting his muzzle. SnowPaw nipped his neck, not hard enough to break his skin but enough to cause a pinch. " alright that's enough, Good job both of you. SnowPaw you can go back to camp, ArrowPaw you will stay here to train with me. You need it." ArrowPaw had looked really disappointed. " Ok, but ArrowPaw.." "DarkFur. If it's alright with you, can I rest for the day?" " Ask BlueLeaf if she needs anything, if not then yes you can." SnowPaw walked away.She felt a bit bad for ArrowPaw, he didn't even get to bat his paw at her. She was a bit to fast for him. Finally she made it back to camp. BlueLeaf was sitting with HawkFur and GingerPelt, she had two kits laying at her belly. SnowPaw approached them. " Hi BlueLeaf, do you need me for anything?" BlueLeaf looked up. " Will you help me test something? SightKit isn't following my paw, can you call him over while moving around." " Ok. Which one is he?" " Orange tabby." "Ok." SnowPaw moved around then called for the kit. " SightKit come here." She moved again, she noticed the kit didn't look at her but stumbled blindly towards the sound she made. " Just like I thought. HawkFur, GingerPelt, I'm sorry but I  believe that SightKit is blind, I don't think he will ever be warrior. But, he can become a medicine cat. Since SnowPaw here won't be becoming a medicine cat. I don't want him to live as an elder all his life. So let me and GraniteStar know what you decide. Thank you SnowPaw you may go." SnowPaw looked at the young kit, he would probably be a great warrior with time and practice, right? But they will probably force him to be the next medicine cat.
