I woke up and walked out of the room and through the kitchen to find Bex asleep, as always. I went back to my room and picked my phone to find a separate text from Buffy, a separate text from Cyrus, some texts from the group chat (me, Cyrus and Buffy), and a few texts from Jonah and Walker.

I went to Buffy's texts first.You up?

Yes, I replied, I am now.

I went to Walker's number: Hey Andi, I was wondering if you wanted to go to a new art gallery today.

Sure, I replied. Just tell me what time and where it is.

Next was Cyrus' number. Buffy texted you, answer her.

Okay, I answered. I just did.

At that moment, Buffy texted me back. Cyrus and I are going to The Spoon after school. Wanna come?

Yes, I replied.

Ok, she replied.

Walker replied with the information about the art gallery and I put my phone away. I realized that there was still a text that I hadn't answered yet, and it was Jonah's. I would answer that text later. I walked back out into the room where Bex was, and she wasn't there. I went to my room, got dressed, and walked out of the front door to find her. I figured she was probably at Cloud 10, but I didn't know.

I found Buffy and Cyrus walking toward my apartment and I ran out to them.

"Hey Andi," Cyrus said first.

"Hi," I replied, now walking with them.

"So I texted Jonah today," Cyrus said.

"He did?" Buffy said to Cyrus, looking at me.

"Yeah," Cyrus replied. "He texted me first, which was a surprise. But I texted him back and we had a conversation. I still feel weird calling Jonah my friend for some reason, we've been friends for a long time now."

I was silent, walking to the right of the both of them. Buffy was in the middle and Cyrus was on the left.

Buffy looked at me. "You good, Andi?"

"Yes," I replied. "I'm fine."

I knew that Cyrus and Buffy were looking at each other and exchanging glances. They probably knew what was going on with me too: I missed Jonah. Ever since I really realized that he was gone, I'd been miserable, and I knew it was probably hard on Buffy and Cyrus, seeing me like this.

"You sure?" Cyrus asked. He moved over next to me so that I was in the middle of them.

Buffy started to have her competitive face. "Because if not-"

"Buffy," I stopped her, "it's fine. I just miss Jonah. I wish he was here. You would too if you had a boyfriend who's gone and is going to be gone for another seven weeks."

Buffy sighed. "You're right," she said, putting her hand on my shoulder. "But I don't like seeing you like this." She smiled, "You need to change your mood, girl." I looked at her and forced a smile, but obviously she knew it was fake. "Okay, or not," she laughed. "Just try to be happy. For me, and for Cyrus."

"Okay," I replied. "I'll try."

We arrived at The Spoon and walked inside the door. I immediately saw Amber, and guess who she was talking to?

Walker.
