I sat there in silence, poking at my food, sighing. 

I wasn't in the best mood after what Mia sent me. I'm not jealous... am I? No way! 

I definitely do NOT have feelings for Tomoe! I groaned, slowly eating my food. 

"What are you whining about now?" Tomoe asked entering the the room, "you still haven't finished eating dinner?" He continued. 

I was too deep in thought to even acknowledge his presence.

The fox yokai snapped his finger in front of my face, causing me to look up at him quickly, "ah!- Oh... It's you Tomoe, sorry I was just thinking." I said with a frown on my face, what's wrong with me?

"Alright, tell me what's wrong." Tomoe sighed, sitting down. Does he actually care for me? No! It's just his job as a familiar... yeah that's it. 

"It's, nothing Tomoe." I began to get up, but Tomoe grabbed my wrist pulling me back down. 

"There's obviously something wrong, it's not good to keep things to yourself all the time, (Y/N)."

A slight blush crept on my face... no Tomoe! Don't do this to me!

I sat back down in defeat. "My friend, from my world, wants to visit." 

Tomoe's eyes widen, "that is your choice to make, if your friend is not a threat do what you like. I don't know why that is troubling you though." 

I can't just simply say "Oh yeah! Ahaha! I think I was just jealous she wants to kiss you by the way!" I thought in annoyance. 

"I think I'll go take a bath, thanks for... listening to me Tomoe." I gave him a genuine smile, actually grateful to have him as a familiar for once. 

"It's nothing, it's my job after all." 

He's right, that's all it was.

Frowning, I walked into the bathroom, sliding the door close. Looking up, I see Yuuto!

"YUUTO?! Y-You scared me!" 

Yuuto jumped on me, rubbing his face on mine, "I prepared a bath for you Lady (Y/N)!" The cat yokai purred letting go of, smiling. 

He's so adorable.

I pat him on his head, he nuzzled against my touch. "Thank you, Yuuto." Yuuto nodded before leaving the room so I could bathe. 

I undressed myself, slipping into the tub, the water was at a perfect temperature. My smile turned into a frown as I was thinking about Tomoe. 

What is he doing to my head...?

I sunk down into the bath further, only my nose and up were above the water. 

Tomoe...

I closed my eyes, maybe this is all a fucked up dream. Maybe I will wake up in my bed and I will shrug all of this off. Forget about this dream like most of my others. 

Even if this is a dream, I don't think I want to forget it.

My mind started going to many places, I got so deep in thought I didn't realize how long I was thinking. 

The bath water was getting kind of cold, but I didn't care. 

I continued to stay in my own head, it calms me down a little I guess. 

As I do so more time passes and the water was getting colder and it was kind of uncomfortable so after I was finished fully bathing myself I decoded to get out. 

Right as I stepped out of the bath the door... OPENED.

"(Y/N)?!" Tomoe yelled with worry written all over his face. 

We both looked at each other with a "wtf" face. 

"AH! PERVERT GET OUT!" I yell running to grab the towel in the room and covering myself blushing.

Tomoe's face was bright red and he slammed the door shut.

Was I really in the bath THAT long for him to worry about me?! But he still could have knocked! Pervert fox! I'll give him a piece of my mind once I get dressed.

 ~Time Skip~

After I finished clothing myself, I rushed out of the bathroom to find my idiot familiar. Tomoe I mean. 

"TOMOE!" I yelled as I find him washing the dished in the kitchen.

"Why did you walk in on me naked you pervert?!" The fox shot me a glare that looks as if it could kill. 

"IDIOT! YOU WERE THE ONE NOT ANSWERING ME AFTER I KNOCKED AND CALLED FOR YOU MANY TIMES!" 

Wait what...?

"You... did?" Tomoe groaned, face palming. Was I really that deep in thought. 

"I...I'm so sorry Tomoe, I didn't know, it wasn't your fault, I was just embarrassed. Thank you for looking out for me. I know it's your job but... I'm actually really grateful. Thank you." I smiled at him, he looked at me with wide eyes. 

"Goodnight Tomoe." That was the last thing I said before leaving the room, leaving my fox familiar there. 

Yuuto must be asleep already, he sleeps a lot anyways, he's a cat after all. 

But... Tomoe, why do I feel the way I feel around him. I know I don't like him, and I KNOW he doesn't like me. I annoy him more than Nanami annoyed him. 

There's no way he likes me, not even the slightest bit.
