Mizuki gave me a big smile, "You know, I wouldn't treat you that way (Y/N)."

Okay... maybe he's starting to get a bit creepy.

"Ahaha, yeah..." I laugh his comment off nervously, staring at my feet.

The snake shikigami lifted my chin up, making me look him in the eyes. "I've taken a liking to you." He smiled once more, I should have saw this coming.

"T-Thanks I guess, but maybe I should get going." I tried to move away but something grabbed me tightly and everything went black.

"I don't think so~"

Tomoe's POV-

As I was walking forward after (Y/N)'s confession she got very quiet.

Why do I feel so terrible?

I turned around she was gone.

"(Y/N)?!" Shouted looking around me, where could she have gone to? Why didn't she tell me she was going somewhere? Maybe someone took her... a yokai?

I have to find her.

(Y/N)'s POV-

I slowly open my eyes, tiredly.

I looked around the unfamiliar room, cautiously.

That's when I remembered everything, I remember Mizuki. I was talking to him earlier, and he was being all creepy.

"I see you're awake."

I know that voice. "Mizuki? Why did you..." I looked up at him, utterly confused. I didn't save him or anything.

Maybe he's just lonely. I know how that feels.

I look at my wrist and notice that engagement mark. Of course...

"I have taken a liking to you (Y/N). That's why we're engaged." He said pointing to my wrist.

I was t going to ask where we are, because I know, I've seen it in the anime. We're in the Yonomori shrine.

"That's flattering and all but I have feelings for... you know what it doesn't matter. He doesn't like me anyways." I smile sadly, thinking of Tomoe.

"Why doesn't it matter (Y/N)?" The snake shikigami asks with his head tilt to the side a bit.

"He... doesn't like me back, and he never will. I just need to give up on him." I sigh sadly, I need to get him off my mind. I don't even want to see him right now.

Or anytime soon.

"The worst part is that I see him everyday... I couldn't imagine seeing him right now." I added, looking Mizuki in the eyes.

"Well, you won't see him for awhile since you're with me." The white haired male in front of me smirked, getting closer.

"M-Mizuki?!"

He didn't stop until he was on top of me.

"S-Stop I don't want this! Not now at least! Please s-stop!" Mizuki smirked once more, he proceeded to pin me down so I couldn't escape.

"Somebody help!" I yell and as if he heard me, the man I didn't want to see appeared.

"Get your hands off of my lady and mistress." Tomoe growled from behind Mizuki.

Mizuki got off of me, making me sigh in relief but there he is... Tomoe.

"So this is the familiar huh? I could sense a godly aura from you (Y/N)." I kept my distance away from the two, avoiding a conversation.

I can't look at Tomoe right now.

Before I could react, my familiar picked me up bridal style. "Ah!" I yelp in surprise and look up into Tomoe's beautiful purple eyes.

He was looking into mine, I quickly looked away, embarrassed.

Tomoe started to threaten Mizuki, I need to stop being such a baby... "Tomoe, stop. Let's just go back to the shrine."

And with that, he gave Mizuki one last glare and we both left the Yonomori shrine.

I feel kind of bad for leaving Mizuki since he's all alone...

~Time Skip~

Tomoe and I arrive back into the shrine, he gently put me down and glared at me.

"YOU REALLY ARE A FOOLISH HUMAN! WHY DID YOU RUN OFF LIKE THAT (Y/N)?! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!" Tomoe yelled at me, causing me to flinch.

I kept my mouth shut, staring at the floor.

"Answer me!" He grabbed my chin making me look up at him.

I didn't even realize it but I started to cry. Tomoe could see the tears in my eyes and his own eyes widen.

I quickly pull away from him and run for my room, the same fox yokai who I have feelings for, grabbed my wrist top stop me.

"Let go of me Tomoe." I said almost in a whisper. Tomoe let go because I ordered him to.

I ran straight for my room again, not looking back at him.

I slammed the door shut and ran to my futon. I started to cry even more.

I'm such an idiot, he will never like me... never.

I forgot about Mia... I'll text her later since it's still day.

Maybe Tomoe will like her better than me anyways.
