Rubbing my eyes tiredly, I slowly open them.

Where the hell... am I?

I look around and notice I'm on a futon but... whose house is this- no this looks like a shrine. I'm absolutely confused.

"Good morning Lady (Y/N)!"

I look to my left to see two shrine spirits that look like children, this is when I really start to freak out.

"AH! W-Who are you two?!"

"I'm Onikiri!" "And I'm Kotetsu!"

"So... where am I?" I question still confused... am I high or something?

"You're in the Mikage shrine, Master Tomoe left saying something like... not want to serve a human." Kotetsu said sadly.

WAIT A MINUTE! I KNOW THESE TWO AND I KNOW TOMOE! AM I REALLY IN KAMISAMA KISS?!?!?!!!

Where is Nanami?

"Is there a Nanami that lives here by any chance?" I ask out of curiosity, the shrine spirits looked at me confused.

"No Nanami here, Lady (Y/N)." Onikiri answered.

I must have taken Nanami's place in this world.

~Time Skip~

Onikiri and Kotetsu told me I had duties as the land god... I remember this part in the anime but I really didn't want to do any chores.

As I was weeding the grass I accidentally cut my finger somehow.

"You can't even weed the yard properly? Pathetic."

I stopped weeding the yard and looked up at Tomoe who was clearly looking annoyed.

"Look, I don't know why you have an attitude, or WHY I'm even here. I just simply woke up in the weird place not know how or why. I don't know what to do okay?!"

Tomoe just stared at me with a blank expression.

"Not my problem." Tomoe announced kicking me in the process.

I remember this part! Before Tomoe could disappear I grabbed him by the wrist which made his eyes widen.

"Let me go you foolish woman!"

I began to sweat nervously knowing what I was going to do next; I kissed Tomoe.

"Do you realize what you've just done?!" Tomoe angrily shouted at me. I smirk, just do piss him off.

"Of course I do, familiar."

Tomoe glared at me, I can tell he wanted to murder me, but he wouldn't. Not if he's under my control. I can make him do anything I want.
