We were nothing but classmates before, now we're seatmates, then we moved on to being friends, then best friends. What are we now?

A set of new kids arrived at our school like every year and we're now introducing themselves. I couldn't care less about them.

I looked outside: It's was raining. The best weather to take a nap.

"Hi!" A guy greeted me to which I snapped out of my gaze.

"H-hi?" I stuttered. I'm not really good with new kids.

"Wang Jackson, and you?"

"Yen Sun Mei." I replied shortly and got my book out from my bag.

"Not much of a talker?" He asked. I shook my head and stayed quiet.

I couldn't care less about the other new kids at school that day. The whole class introduced themselves much to the teacher's fun little games, but really I didn't care much until you caught my attention.

"A-annyeonghaseyo, Jun-ibnida." From hearing you talk I knew you weren't from here. I never saw that much in school from the previous years so the only things I knew is: One, I don't you that well. Two, you weren't a new student judging by you and your seatmate talking. And three, I kinda saw your name on a class list last year so.... yeah?
