yoongi and jimin were currently sitting in jimin's room, opposite each other.

when yoongi stated that he doesn't want to eat just to save money, jimin felt like he was about to flip.

being a slightly rich kid, he gave yoongi a couple of hundred bucks, saying that it's "no biggie."

yoongi is still shocked, since the two don't know each other that well, yet however jimin was a generous man, and he helped with yoongi's struggles.

inside his head, yoongi still wasn't able to process the fact that his mother would be safe now, she would survive with the cancer treatment, and this was all thanks to jimin.

now that the hospital payment is out of the way, jimin decides that he would help out yoongi by eating together with him.

the two males had empty plates in front of each other, with food in the middle of the table.

"so what we'll do, is we'll pick out some food and put it on the plate. it can be just a little, it doesn't need to be large amount!" jimin said with an eye smile.

yoongi reluctantly picked up his chopsticks and started eating, chewing slowly.

"ah! some progress is better than nothing, right?" jimin asked. yoongi nodded, smiling lightly. "you see, this will help you because you're choosing to put something on your plate. i'm not forcing you to eat this by putting something on your plate and having to straight up tell you "eat this", you yourself are choosing to make the choice to eat it!"

"don't your parents mind? aren't i being a burden here?" yoongi questioned.

"what? of course you're not! my parents absolutely love guests! you could come to my house every day for 10 years and they would still be happy to see you!" jimin cheered him up. "now that i think about it, do you want to have dinner with me each day? i can cook as well, you know!"

yoongi nodded hesitantly, before looking at the younger male.

"thank you, jimin."
