a few weeks passed and the boys grew closer together. they built a strong bond with each other and even if there was an age gap between some of them, nobody cared.
it was currently the christmas holidays, and yoongi was chilling in jimin's room. both of them were on their phones, snuggled up with each other.

jimin received a light kick from the older male, which caused jimin to burst out laughing. he leaned over yoongi to pass him a glass of water. he was hesitating to get out of bed, since jimin was shirtless and didn't put on a shirt.
eventually, he got up and went downstairs to get a single straw and eventually came back with it.
after sitting down, yoongi observed jimin's back and saw that the numbers have decreased. this caused yoongi to get upset unexpectedly, and he immediately back-hugged jimin.
jimin smiled at first, however the same, warm-hearted smile faded away when he heard light sobbing coming from yoongi.
"what's wrong?" the younger questioned.
"the thing on your back.. the numbers have gotten smaller. i have absolutely no idea what it is about, but it's making me worried."
jimin nodded sadly and and got up to look at his back in the mirror. he realized something, and looked at the date.
"silly you, it's a countdown until new year's! why are you so worried?" jimin exclaimed and went back to yoongi, giving him a huge hug.
the older smiled a little and wiped any tears that had escaped. "that's great then, i'm glad." he murmured and pulled jimin in for a kiss.
