Zoe trudged behind Sydney down the street. Turning the corner, the frat house came into view. The house was already filled with people, and you could hear some random Arctic Monkeys song was playing.
Sydney walked up to the door and squealed, meeting up with a group of girls.
"I'll see you later! Try to have some fun!" Sydney shouts as she runs inside.
Zoe sighs, realizing she's now all alone for the night. She wanders inside, grabbing a cup filled with some alcoholic beverage. She finds her way to the stereo and sits herself down right next to a boy with purple hair.
He seems to be enjoying himself, tapping his boot clad feet to the beat of the song.
They sat there in silence together, well as close to silence as they could be at the party. The song changes and the boy perks up.
"I love this song!" he exclaims, before realizing no one cares enough to listen to what he has to say.
Zoe recognizes the song but can't think of a name. She starts to rack her brain, knowing it's a Green Day song. After trying so hard to remember the title, she decides to just ask the boy who seems to love it so much.
"Uh, hi. I can't remember the name of this song. I know it's by Green Day but I can't remember the name." Zoe says, taking in the boys features.
He has lilac hair, spiked up in different directions. He's wearing a some black skinny jeans and a Green Day singlet. He has the most amazing eyes, they looked so soft yet so dominant.
"Oh, this is 99 Revolutions." the boy says. "It's one of my favorites!"
Zoe nods, enjoying the music. 'At least the music isn't shitty' she thought to herself.
The boy looks up at her and says, "I'm Michael, what's your name?"
"Zoe." she states, sipping the last bit of alcohol from her drink. She had decided this was beer, she just didn't know what type. "And I'm all of of beer. Do you want some?"
"Ah, no. I don't drink." Michael responds.
"What's that, then?" Zoe asks, nodding towards the cup Michael had his long fingers curled around.
"Just water, plain old tap water." Michael says.
"Oh, okay. I'll be back. Unless you have somewhere else to be. It's okay if you don't want to hang out with me." Zoe says insecurely.
"Nope. I'll be here when you get back. And that's a promise." Michael smiles.
Zoe smiles and goes to refill her cup. In the kitchen she sees some random guy making out with Sydney. She just shrugs and gets some more beer.
Sipping at her cup, she stumbles over to where Michael was sitting. She had only had one beer and was already feeling a little tipsy.
"So, you wanna tell me why you don't drink?" Zoe asks as she sits down next to Michael.
Michael just shrugs and says, "Don't really like it."
"That's not all. It has to be something. There has to be something." Zoe replies, with the intent of discovering what it was that made this boy dislike alcohol.
"It's not important. So, what's your favorite song?" Michael mumbles in reply.
"Probably "Remembering Sunday" by All Time Low." she says.
Michael looks up with a shocked expression on his face.
"What?" Zoe giggles.
"I just assumed it would have been some stupid pop song. All Time Low is fucking awesome." Michael muses.
"What can I say, I have a perfect music taste." Zoe jokes. "So, what's your favorite song?"
"Mine is probably "Rock the Casbah" by the Clash. But "99 Revolutions" is a really close second." Michael says, looking as if he is in deep thought about his music.
Zoe nods, smiling. "Have you ever seen anyone in concert?" Zoe asks.
"Yeah, I've seen Green Day twice and All Time Low once. You?"
"I've seen The Neighbourhood once, All Time Low once, and The 1975 twice. They were all pretty great, but The Neighbourhood was without a doubt the best."
Michael scowls. "What? How can you possibly say that! All Time Low is fucking incredible live."
"You're saying All Time Low was better than Green Day?" Zoe laughs.
"Well, I didn't say that! But I would imagine they're better than The Neighbourhood! No offense to The Neighbourhood, I love their music too. I just think All Time Low would be better!" Michael replies.
Zoe laughs and shakes her head. "No way! All Time Low was fucking incredible, but it was a very different experience from The Neighbourhood. I would say The Neighbourhood was better but All Time Low is still amazing."
Michael sighs out, "Alright. I can respect that."
Zoe claps her hands, "Yay! I am so glad! If The Neighbourhood ever comes near here we have to go, just so I can prove my point!"
Michael looks up, into her interesting eyes. They were ordinary, just brown eyes, but he still thought they were incredible. He hadn't noticed how beautiful Zoe was. She had olive skin and straight brown hair, becoming lighter at the end. All of her features fit together perfectly.
"So, now we have to talk about The 1975. How were they live?" Michael asks, trying to cover the fact that he was practically checking her out seconds before.
They talked for hours, conversation topics ranging from how Green Day was live to how many songs each of them had on their phones. They discovered that Michael had 3,429 and Zoe only had 2,761. All in all, they both had quite a few songs to listen to.
Michael discovered that Zoe had every single Beatles song and Zoe found out that Michael had some Ed Sheeran mixed in with his rock music.
Michael and Zoe were in the midst of talking about how underrated the White Arrows were when Sydney stumbled over to them.
"Zoe, it's time to go." Sydney slurs out giggling.
"Oh my. How many drinks have you had?" Zoe asks, not expecting an accurate answer.
"Well, I had three. But then I lost count." Sydney finds that hysterical, laughing her head off.
"Then let's get you home!" Zoe throws Sydney's arm over her shoulder. "It was really nice talking to you, hope to see you again!"
Michael replies, "Yeah! Do you need help getting her home?"
Zoe shakes her head, starting to walk towards the door. She gives a final wave to Michael and heads out the door.
"Wait! I didn't get you're number! Or last name! Zoe!" Michael calls out, running towards the door. He looks out and sees that Zoe is out of sight. He sighs, realizing he may never find her.

Hahahahahaha is it bad that I base the physique of my characters and sometimes even the name off of people I know in real life. Like I know a Zoe and a Sydney and I am basing the characters off of how they are in real life but not really it's kind of a loose description, but the physique is spot on.
