SEQUEL TO "It Started With a Friendship"
Lisa has been living in Vegas now for a few months, of course, she has not gotten used to how busy it is , she has also run into trouble but will the person she wants her to help out will do? or will she have...
I just look at Zak across the room we had not said a word to each other since I told him what was keeping me here.
"So for the first time ever are you shocked for words Zak?"
"I don't know how I feel.......my mind is thinking so much right now"
I watch as he starts to fidget in his seat "Surely I am not the one you keeping you here? he looks at me with confusion.
"I love vegas I must admit but you are the main reason I want to stay in Vegas & not go back"
"So are you saying you want to fully be in a relationship with me, Lisa?"
I looked around the room not looking at him at all.
"Thi this is a lot to take in all at once, can I at least think about it?"
"Sure it's not like you are going anywhere.. Or are you?"
"No, I have no plans to do anything at the moment"
"Seems you got here when I was about to head out for a job you wanna join me on a walk?"
"I guess you do kinda also need to show me around this place you live anyway"
"I guess when we get back we can go take a drive & go out for lunch somewhere if you wish?"
"Sounds good but I get to pick?" I smile at him shyly
He nods in agreement & stands up from his seat & walks out of the room, I finally feel that I can relax a little now he has gone out of the room. I wait a few moments before I wait for him at his front door.
"Here is a bottle of water to take with you, because being in the Vegas heat for a long period of time can make you thirsty"
I take a bottle of water from him & move so he can unlock his front door then he allows me to head out first I stand outside with my arms crossed as I wait for him to lock up.
He takes off his glasses then changing to sunglasses then placing his glasses into a case then placing them into his pocket.
I follow behind him as we both walk down his short path to the main path on the estate he lives on, he waits for me to stand by his side before he starts to walk more.
"You do know you can walk close to me right?"
"Oh, I know" I play with my hair a little. I do as he asks & walks beside him.
"Do you like living in this area? it seems super quiet?"
"Yes I love it I like the peace sometimes & when I wanna get out of here I just drive down the strip"
We continue to walk in quietness before he hit a spot that overlooks the neighbourhood.
"Let's sit here for a little while & just watch the world go by" I watch as Zak empties his pockets then sit on a big rock which is in front of us, I leave it a few moments before I join him.
I begin to relax & I see him out of the corner of my eye peering at me from his sunglasses.
"Don't think I can't see you looking at me even if you do have sunglasses on" he looks away & back out to the view.
"Sorry it's just nice for me to see you relaxed around me again that's all" he smiles.
"Its the view & atmosphere nothing to do with you"
He stood up "I think its time for us to head back are you coming?" he put his hand out for me to take.
I took his hand & got up we walked back to his place in silence as we entered his house I grabbed my bag. "I think its time for me to leave"
"But what about lunch ?"
"Maybe another time sorry, I am super tired after that walk" I look down towards his floor.
"Oh ok well, can I give you a hug goodbye then?"
I nod & open my arms so we can hug as he hugged me tightly I smelt his cologne & the memories came flushing back".
*A Few Hours Later I am heading to bed & my phone Pings*

I switch my phone to silent for the rest of the night & try to fall asleep but all I keep doing is having flash images & memories of Zak, I grumble & just shut my eyes I know I will fall asleep eventually.
