We walked in silence as we headed towards the biggest house at the Far East of the town. The house sat on top of a pedestal overlooking the town, Tony, still shaking led me straight there. Once we made it to the base of the structure, Tony pulled me aside holding me by my shoulders as if he was afraid, I'd run away he said, "Please behave yourself in there." Confused, I asked him what he meant? "Are you ok? Ever since I tossed the coin in the fountain, you've been acting as if I'm about to die?" "No, that's not it, you already did die! Die again, and you will become a figment of everyone's imagination! Just completely gone, erased from everyone's memories and all your achievements and creations will be passed on to someone else! The fact that you were called HERE on your first day means your NOT supposed to be here!" I looked at Tony in awe of what he had just said, "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Do you remember what I called myself when we first met?" Tony had asked. Thinking back, I recalled him saying something about being a seeker. "Ya, you said you where a seeker, right?" He gave a frown and just looked at me as if I had just insulted him. "No, a seer, meaning I look after everyone keeping tabs on how they spent their life
If they're bad, we just throw them back as a reincarnated version of themselves to try again. But, when you live a good life, then you can get to choose like you did regardless of your temper." He explained as he released his grip on my shoulders and began walking up the steps towards the big house.
I felt the need to defend myself after he called me out about my temper, but I couldn't think of any good defense. He was right though, I had a temper. Even though I had never started a fight, my temper would usually be what ended any conflict in the end. So, I just followed him up the steps. "So why is he calling for me?" I asked, my curiosity sneaking in. "It seems like there's already a good system with you looking through everyone." For the longest time, Tony said nothing in return, until he took a shaggy breath. "There was a gap when looking over you from the time you were born to the time you were eight years old. This has never happened before and that means, we don't know who your father was but, we have a pretty good idea." Shocked by the mention of my father, I nearly tripped on the stairs." My father was Jimmy Martin, ya he was a bit of an ass at times and wasn't in my life a whole lot, but time and time again he showed he was a kind person that did mean well."
The house was compromised of four big white stone pillars and a roof. There were no walls and except for the big fire place with a rotisserie, a few stone benches forming a ring around it and a huge thron where sat an even bigger and more intimidating man who appeared to be in his early thirties. He held a stone like gaze on me as the two of us walk up to him. "Stand by the entrance!" the man's voice boomed causing Tony to let out a small muffled yelp as he jumped back to the stairs. "Of course my mistake." Tony said, as if scolding himself.
Without even thinking, I spoke. "You sure have a way to make new friend's, are you god?" As soon as those words left my lips, I was hit with what felt like a bolt of lightning but it wasn't electricity it was the man on the throne. It was as if his presence was filling the air with a blue aura, and lightning filled the silence with a loud cracking sound sending small sparks flying around. "It will do you some good not to push me boy. Do you know WHY I called you here?" His tone was calm yet stern and his posture left him completely open with his back hunched over with his hands folded under his chin covering his mouth as if to say I was a mere child who opposed no threat, and was eager to see me try and fight back but one thing was for sure he was God and I was at his mercy. "Bits and pieces, something about my father Jimmy and a gap in looking over my life." I said, trying to hold my tongue and not to say more than I needed to. "The only way to block or hide any information from us is through the use of destruction." He leaned forward a bit more pointing to me with his pinky, "Ring any bells boy?" The way he called me boy gave me everything I needed to know here, he's trying to provoke me. "No, it doesn't ring any bells. I never even prayed a day in my life. Maybe you can fill me in on the basics or maybe you're right and I do know something but if I don't even know what the problem is, I can't really fix it can I?" A much louder crack of lightning shot out braking the tension sending golden sparks into the air in front of God's face as he began to lower his hands revealing a smile of amusement. "You honestly think you can fix the situation?" Hesitating, I think of what to say as I stumble out something in a effort to make him happy. "Of course, as long as I can move around I can do stuff to help." Having said that, the room seemed to have calmed down as the crackling came to a stop and the last bits of embers from the sparks died down. God stood from his throne and made short strives towards me. "In that case, you will clean this mess up! You are to meet your FATHER and take his seal as proof you have no connections with him. Do this and you will have proven yourself to have full access to Civilizatie."
Confused at the sudden change of heart I ask, "What do you mean, I still don't understand what you want of me?" Now face to face with God, my heart jumped to my throat as he placed his hand on my head. My mind raced to what Tony said about being erased and from the mad man that shot me before, I couldn't even open my mouth to scream, I was already being evaporated in a blue light!
