colby knew he shouldn't have feelings for sam. what if he ruined their friendship in a way that couldn't be healed. he was always scared of telling him. so he chucked the feelings down.
i mean, sam had a girlfriend but that still couldn't stop the feelings. he wanted to tell someone.

sam was now looking at DMs to see if others have messaged him about anything. he always had a deep appreciation for the brunette. maybe more sometimes, but he had a girlfriend and things were good. he didn't want to ruin what they all had.

he saw a message that said, "colby doesn't like you as a friend, man.. can't you tell ? he seems so awkward and weird around you now 😏."
"damn, two of these in a few days?" sam laughed to himself and screenshotted.
sam opened colby's door to him getting dressed.

"DUDE, WHY DIDN'T YOU KNOCK!!?"  "omg i'm so sorry colby! tell me when you're done!" he said as he was closing his eyes and shut the door. they were both laughing now but on opposite sides of the door.
colby yelled when he was done so he could come in. "i'm sorry man, haha." "it's all good. hope you kept your pants on ;)." bursting out laughing. they could always joke around like that comfortably. but colby wanted it to be real.
"anyway, i need to talk to you." sam explained.

"i was looking at my DMs, cause why not, and someone said the same shit they said to you. that we have feelings for each other and i think we should prank the fans now to be honest haha!" "sam!? are you crazy? they would all kill us. we can't do that and you know it. we could just ask them all to stop assuming or not pay attention to it. because i love you dude. but if you're uncomfortable, i get it." he chuckled weakly. "yeah, i know we can't do that. i'll tweet something about it. and it doesn't make me uncomfortable because i know what i believe." sam said. then they did the 'bro hug' to make things less awkward.

they finally went to film a video at a haunted mall across town, colby kept getting notifications saying "FLASH FLOOD WARNING". so they decided to explore tomorrow and went home to hang out. they were confused because it barely rained in la. "oh well."
when they got home, everyone was gone.

they heard the door knob, so colby went to answer it. all of a sudden this random man with a ski mask grabbed him and put him into his car. he screamed, but couldn't for much longer because the guy put tape over his mouth. sam got up as soon as he heard him scream and ran outside to see the car drive off. the masked figures drove for a couple of minutes. then corey, jake and aaron took their masks off and yelled "WELCOME TO THE PRANK WAR." colby got pissed getting out of the car saying, "are you kidding me guys! that one wasn't funny.. what if sam called the cops!?" as sweat dripped down his face, making his shirt doused. he started to walk home instead of getting back into the car out of anger.
